RIP Simone, Shocking news, I read it yesterday, although I didn't know too much about GRL (I heard them before on Wild Wild Love with Pitbull) :(

:o Number 11 as I predicted in Termo's Singles Chart Prediction Game.
I'm sure no-one would have begrudged this a place in the Top 10 even if they don't like this particular song.
Damn I was predicting #7 for this. Can't believe how far new entries are falling from their midweek positions now.
Oh no at this missing top 10. :( R.I.P Simone, been a fan since her X Factor USA days.

was hoping for G.R.L to stay top 10 as a fitting tribute to Simone Battle :(

The song is quite good actually, generic but not in a What Are You Waiting For way thankfully.

I was turned off at first by the lack of singing in Ugly Heart, it really is pretty monotone throughout, but it's grown on me massively over the past month. Still very much in shock about Simone :(
I don't actually mind this on first listen. Reminds me a little bit of early Sugababes for some reason. Dunno what's gonna happen to them now though, still completely shocked at that news about Simone...

Discussion Thread Here

Am I Wrong! :D One of my definite fave number 1's year. Massive shame to see the dreadful Rude ahead of it now.
Let It Go is #44 today according to OCC twitter, quite a big drop out of the top 40.

:o 'Rude' ahead of 'Am I Wrong' for the very first time if I'm not mistaken.

Both sound abysmal now imo.

G.R.L at #11, that's a shame for them.

I'm just listening to the chart now, did Scott Mills say anything about Simone's death or pay any tribute to her?

Do they not do the video streaming any more?

I was just investigating that, and there's no link on the Radio 1 website for it. They must have ditched it now Dan & Phil have been shunted elsewhere under the cuts and new schedule.
