September 14, 201412 yr Suzanne Vega has been retweeting Pete Chump or whatever the bloke from Fall Out Boy is called and some other people who've mentioned it so she's obviously OK with it (and may possibly be getting a royalty anyway). Obviously she's no stranger to sampling (she samples 50 Cent on her latest album) so I'm not too surprised. Awful song though.
September 14, 201412 yr The video to this is so cool, and he is drop dead gorgeous. The song may still grow... Oh good to see I'm not alone here :kink:
September 14, 201412 yr So hope this can go top 10 soon. Think I like it even more than Budapest now  (speak of the devil ay) Edited September 14, 201412 yr by Chez Wombat
September 14, 201412 yr The chart might not be reflecting it but 'Ugly Heart' is getting the sales nonetheless which is what matters. Still holding strong too, so hopefully will hang around for a while to come. A 10 place drop in its 2nd week after missing the top 10 doesn't bode well but hopefully you're right but I can only see it lasting another 2-3 weeks at best :(

September 14, 201412 yr A 10 place drop in its 2nd week after missing the top 10 doesn't bode well but hopefully you're right but I can only see it lasting another 2-3 weeks at best :( To be fair though, it's still top 15 on iTunes! Fairly sure the big drops won't continue if it holds up this well, especially with streaming increasing for it :D

She also seems to search her name on twitter, as she RTs things not actually mentioned to her but containing her name :kink:  Double George Ezra  ^_^
September 14, 201412 yr 'Blame It On Me' sounds a bit less forced than 'Budapest' but I wouldn't say I was a fan of either of them.
September 14, 201412 yr So hope this can go top 10 soon. Think I like it even than Budapest now  I love Blame It On Me, I think his live lounge appearance next week will help give it a good boost!!
September 14, 201412 yr Quite some chart back-to-back songs from the same male artist in recent times. Three weeks ago there was a Sam Smith back to back, and I think there was also an Ed Sheeran one before.
September 14, 201412 yr So good to see the two George Ezra songs together. Great to see that "Blame It on Me" reached the Top 20 as well! Regarding "Ugly Heart", it's a nice song, but it still doesn't grow on me.
September 14, 201412 yr To be fair though, it's still top 15 on iTunes! Fairly sure the big drops won't continue if it holds up this well, especially with streaming increasing for it :D Hopefully it will, I mean look at Oliver Heldens - he fell quite fast but 12 weeks on he's still top 40!!!
