October 19, 201412 yr Does "Bullitt" sample some old tune? The melody sounds similar to something I've heard on an old movie or something. Apparently it samples the start of this - ie06P-6qKbU
October 19, 201412 yr Bit gutted at Jessie Ware's low entry too, really stunning album with beautiful vocals.
October 19, 201412 yr Does anyone know what album(s) kept Achtung Baby off number 1? As mentioned before, Blame It On Me is ok but not as good as Buda...

For most of his teens, Smith balanced study with music, soaking in the raw and passionate approach to performance exemplified by his favorite artists at that time such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan. "Latch" hit the upper reaches of the U.K. singles chart when Smith was 21, and many were surprised when his debut solo track took a more tempered path. The production on February 2013's "Lay Me Down" — also courtesy of the ordinarily dancefloor-focused duo Disclosure — recalled the stripped-back material that had proved successful for Adele in the preceding years. Next, Shahid Khan — aka Naughty Boy — decided to follow his Emeli Sandé-fronted U.K. Top Ten hit "Wonder" with the infectious, Bollywood sample-driven "La La La." Featuring Smith's powerful lead vocal, it became an instant May 2013 U.K. number one single following his spring tour in support of Sandé. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2012 11 Latch (Disclosure Feat. October 19, 201412 yr The first studio album by U2 to not go to number 1 since 1981! Serves them right for giving it away for free.
October 19, 201412 yr Not the MOBO fact again  I'm not the only one remains beautiful My order of Sam's singles is INTOO > SWM > MOMY > Latch > La La La
October 19, 201412 yr Michael Jackson - Dangerous :D Cheers, what a battle that must have been! Favourite Sam Smith track now, just edges out Money On My Mind for me.
October 19, 201412 yr George and Sam proving what excellent vocalists they are on these two tracks, gorgeous.
October 19, 201412 yr Radio 1 actually bothering to update the album chart! Surprising. Jessie Ware being overtaken by Spandau Ballet :drama: Disastrous. At least it should still have decent-ish sales (higher than the first week of 'Devotion' at least). That swap allowed me to slip another little fact in :D
October 19, 201412 yr couldn't disagree more as much as i really dislike sam smith, la la la and latch are quite good, his other are unbearable (apart from restart )

She signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009. During that time, Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Her second studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012), also topped the chart and its lead single, "Starships", peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was reissued as an expanded version, subtitled The Re-Up. Minaj's third album, The Pinkprint, is scheduled for release on November 24, 2014. She has won four American Music Awards, eight BET Awards, two MTV Music Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, five Billboard Music Awards and Billboard's 2011 Rising Star award. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): 2010 71 Your Love -1- 2010 09 2012 (It Ain't The End) (Jay Sean Feat.
