Where is G.R.L. & Ella (Glow)?

Glow #20

GRL #27

I hope ella can overtake status quo.

No chance with Sam Smith ahead of her now... #6 or #7 depends where Status Quo crushes to on Sunday

Quite impressive that Fuse has remained at #6 from Tuesday right through until Friday - it seems quite rare for a new release not to fall several places between the Tuesday and Friday updates. I wonder if he can cling on to #6 come Sunday?

Not sure what is happening with Taylor Swift's track, I would have thought with it been Friday, the track would have been removed by now, unless OCC haven't realised its a second instant grat, the mystery deepens...

I imagine he had a big sales lead initially over #7 so he's been steadily caught but yet to actually drop a place. He could fall 3-4 come Sunday mind.

Dont understand how 99p sopposed to be a reason to download True Blue in the thousands, all singles are always 99p on Amazon

This is an album though, not a single..!

I'm suspecting that iTunes can now report actual purchases of instant grats, separate from the instant grat downloads. This is what's happening in the US now. WTNY would be a hell of a lot higher had the album pre-orders been included surely.

Initially 'Shake It Off' was a single and charted as a single, then it became an instant grat.

I wonder if the OCC is using this to selectively allow some artists to chart with their 2nd instant grat.

I say selectively, because the same situation has happened with other artitsts who haven't been allowed to chart.

I kind of want 'Happy' to get that unbroken year in the top 40, just because that'd be quite cool.

I think it must be helped significantly at the weekend with being hammered on those adverts in the breaks of X-Factor (where they seem to only have that song, Fancy, Ghost and for some reason Dibby Dibby Sound)

ah... thanks for that. That would explain it. Hopefully we get a confirmation from OCC at some point.

I was actually thinkiing this nearer the beginning of the week but the non mover for Taylor confirms it a bit...

TOL will be number 2 on Sunday and hopefully number 1 next week!
