How could they miss off What Do You Take Me For? It was a top 10 hit and one of her best singles!

I just realised they also left off that single which missed the top 200, the one after 'Broken Arrow'.

 

Didn't they cover that up by saying it was cancelled? :drama:

Even as a fan, this is not really worth buying for two new tracks. Ridiculous. They could have at least made it more interesting by including a disc of remixes or rare tracks.

Surely Pixie's better off taking a complete break, working out what's what and deciding exactly where she wants to go with the next album. If that didn't end up working, the label would probably drop her anyway. This is just a rush.

Mess. Why are What Do You Take Me and Lay Me Down missing? It's practically just a re-release of Turn It Up louder with a few additional songs.

She already did that haha, that's what caused her to be dropped by Radio One in the first place cause her relevance just dropped.

She's been around for 5 years-this is much longer than most with her capabilities. She's been lucky to still be talked about and really wouldn't be any great loss to the music industry.

Oh dear :lol: this reminds me of those really pointless early 00s GHs like Samantha Mumba and Billie Piper after like two albums but probably 10x worse given her last album flopped so nobody is gonna want a GH!!

This is such a "we're about to drop her so let's throw together a shoddy compilation, that costs us next to nothing to produce, and cash in a few quid" affair, it almost hurts! I'm sure her being on Strictly may help it sell a hundred or so copies. :lol:

I do feel sorry for Pixie, her first album was great and she showed such promise but sadly it all went to hell and back for her. :(

I can't see her being dropped though. This just looks like an idea her label threw together last minute, to try and make some money thinking it will sell because she's on SCD.

Probably the exact same reason as them tbh. She brings in money by modelling for endorsements and going on shows

But this is kind of my point. Much better artists got dropped all the time years ago. Now it's nearly impossible no matter how bleak the situation looks.

I think it's clever for her to release an album before Christmas, I'm sure it will miss the top 20 unless she gets promotion on Strictly Come Dancing etc but even then it should at least manage to outsell 'Pixie Lott'. I'm still surprised regarding the track listing as including 'Coming Home' (without Jason Derulo :o) is a massive shock especially after missing three singles.
