really hope Ed Sheeran isn't this year's John Lewis Ad singer. Talk about overkill :drama: He's already rivalling Emeli Sandé 2012 for most overexposed artist, if he does this he'll be ZOOMING past her

Any You Ruin Me predictions!?! I can't decide based on its pre-order trajectory whether it will be a big ballad smash or a Human/Classic style lingering low-end curiosity.
Quite a few according to Compare My Radio, but none of the other majors.

I think somewhere between #8 and #15.

Hopefully neither...

Really willing this to be a top 10 for them!

Should be possible, it's been consistently top 200 mostly on pre-orders for around a month and should gather more as the week goes on.

Maybe it will have a similar chart run to Untouched? Doesn't seem out of the realms of possibility...
I'm fairly sure for Ban Aid 20, it was announced, then it was further announced what date they were recording, then everyone just turned up and did their parts and shot a few bits for the video. Though in the age of social media, that may be more difficult.
I'm thinking with streaming included obviously that "You Ruin Me" will peak at #13 next week. It might perform well on streaming though so can't count top 10 out just yet but seems pretty unlikely!

I hoped with how the pre-order had been performing that even top 5 would be a possibility, but it has kind of stabilised without progressing higher than 170ish the whole time. I'm still pleased either way, such a huge fan and I never thought they'd be in contention for a top 10 hit ever again.
Hopefully it's Leona (who has been rumoured). Hopefully it's 'Your Hallelujah' that's used. Would be perfect on a new animated style advert!

Hopefully this is true, would be incredible. Never paid much attention to Your Hallelujah until it came on shuffle in July on my phone haha! Same with Mr Right, think its because I was (still am) in love with One More Sleep last year.

Looks like possibly only 1/2 more updates for Ed to get back to #1, he's gained massively in the last few.

I could see the explicit version of 'I Don't Care' rapidly overtaking the clean one once it falls off #1.

I saw an article saying Debenhams are using Paul Mccartney and The Frog Chorus- We All Stand Together on their Christmas advert, so expect that to reenter the charts

Thank GOD I don't work there anymore, the poor staff will be subject to hearing that 40 times a day if last year's usage of Foxes' Youth is anything to go buy.

Is there still a chance Ed could beat Cheryl to #1 if he overtakes at some point tomorrow?

No, she still has a version at #4 which is rapidly increasing, don't forget.

Ed is also #1 on streaming, which equates to around 15K sales and easily wipes out that advantage.

I wouldn't write him off yet. ;)

I don't think so :P He will be a bit closer to her than kworb suggests due to streaming but her second version is also doing huge
