Fair play to Cheryl though - she really has stretched an elastic band to the moon with what she has and continues to achieve.
What is the record for the act with most 1 week number ones from pre-album singles?

my best guess would be Westlife

She has put out some bops though!

Are you going to spend the whole week dissing Cheryl?

Anyway, it's quite amazing to come on here to see this, I really wasn't expecting her to get to number 1 before her X Factor performance, and with a second version that high, I am a happy fan now :)

I'm still not sure she will be #1 officially, but if not #2 is definitely happening and that's still great. :cheer:

Cheryl's second version is now at #11! Amazing achievement if she manages to get both versions in the top 10 (which looks almost certain now).
*Second

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love, Promise This, Crazy Stupid Love

Cheryl - Call My Name, (I Don't Care)

And Crazy Stupid Love's credit is amended to just Cheryl on the album release :heehee:

I don't get why the explicit version for I don't care is not the main version it should be imo.

Does it really matter? People will buy whichever version they prefer as both are available. The fans will just buy both.

Well this thread has been unreadable so far.

'Stay' still hasn't had any red updates on Kworb despite falling a few places since it debuted (as it's just been overtaken by Cheryl, Nicki and The Script). Ugh at The Script's performance having so much impact though, such an awful song and I usually like / don't mind them...

So Dark Horse is considered a Halloween themed song by X Factor ... really? Playing fast and loose wit the themes then eh.
No doubt that Cheryl Cole will be full of herself on The X Factor tonight and next weekend. Especially when she has verbal banter with Simon Cowell.

Christmas songs:

#360 - Mariah Carey "All I Want For Christmas Is You"

#977 - Leona Lewis "One More Sleep" :o

Leona's climbed quite a lot over the last few hours. I have a very good feeling about the success of "One More Sleep" this year. :D

Hope you're right!!

Grab that Xmas #IMPAKT!! Leona!! :cheer: :w00t:

Grab that Christmas Classic status!

When do radios start playing the Xmas classics?

We also need All Alone on Xmas to be impaktful this year too.

One More Sleep really was nailed into everyone's memory last Christmas. It was EVERYWHERE. High hopes for its silver certification this year.

No more than they usually do

It should be on ~135k-140k I think, so it'll need to sell another 60k or so which I think is doable over the next 7-8 weeks. Especially now that streaming is a part of the charts (and also counted to certifications right?).

I've always seen Dark Horse as a halloween song - it was out around last Halloween. It has quite a spooky beat and includes lyrics like 'dark,' 'madness', 'play with magic', 'perfect storm.' And also references the infamous Jeffery Dahrmer - one of the scariest serial killers of all time.

I think it was always intended as a spooky song - just see the Grammys performance - vimeo.com/m/85118070

I was quite disappointed when she changed its theme to Egyptian for the video.

"I don't care" could be the first Cheryl's song to have two versions in the top10! What an achievement

Combined and Weighted Top 10 (removing Calvin):

1 1.0000 Cheryl - I Don't Care

2 0.7684 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

3 0.6012 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass

4 0.3759 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

5 0.2906 Jeremih - Don't Tell 'Em (feat. YG)

6 0.2598 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang

7 0.2576 One Direction - Steal My Girl

8 0.2568 Waze & Odyssey & R. Kelly - Bump & Grind 2014

9 0.2466 Parra for Cuva - Wicked Games (feat. Anna Naklab)

10 0.2026 Fuse ODG - T.I.N.A. (feat. Angel)

Amazing lead for Cheryl
