Going with OTY and Jay bottom with Paul as back up.

I don't think OTY are going anywhere yet. They are just going up in the publics opinion overall. I'd be surprised if they were after Simon praised them so highly.

They are awful when the girls lead and the blonde girl got far too many lines given her horrible voice.

 

Weren't they bottom 2 when the girls lead the last time.

This "week 5 curse" people refer to is a bit puzzling. I just checked back the last 4 series and everyone who left week 5 I didn't feel were a frontrunner? :unsure:

 

Series 1 Week 5: Cassie eliminated against Tabby small shock

Series 2 Week 5: Maria eliminated against Conway Sisters MAJOR shock

Series 3 and 4 provided no shocks

Series 5 Week 5: Laura White eliminated over Ruth, the bottom 2 was considered shocking based on talent and Laura was favourite to win as she was eliminated

Series 6 Week 5: Lucie Jones eliminated over Jedward

Series 7 no shock

Series 8 Week 5: The Risk finishing bottom was a big shock, it visibly stunned the arena.

Series 9 no shock

Series 10 Week 5: Abo going out was a small shock

I'd say series 7 had a shock? :unsure: Treyc eliminated despite Katie Waissel yelling "sod it" in the middle of her performance and just sitting on the stage. Definitely shocked me.

Well for me the brunette one has the better female voice. I agree that the blonde one shouldn't be given too much to sing. Should have been more of one of the two guys. I still don't see them being bottom 2. I think Jay v Paul.

But yes that was a shock in a way. I didn't expect treyc to last much longer than that but under the circumstances.... I wouldn't say Abi going was much of a shock though, i didn't expect it to happen or anything but I did think most weeks "surely her time will be up next week", if that makes sense. I think we'll just have Jay or Paul, the former would be a bit of a shock but the latter not so much.

 

 

Knowing the state of XF since last series though it'll be a Lauren and Fleur bottom 2 with Lauren going or something like that :lol:

Yeah I guess those listed could be considered shocks in that there were far weaker contestants who survived and in some cases the bottom 2 were both comparatively better. Series 2 & 6 are the major ones (particuarly series 6 I'd never ever been so mad at a TV show before! :lol: ) I was a bit gutted when Abi was eliminated last year but Hannah was the better vocalist in fairness.

I just didn't think Trey C had been that memorable, the only reason people knew her was from the Whenever Your Ready parody. Maybe I am not remembering it as well as I could.

Stereo Kicks and Jay bottom 2, got a funny feeling simon is going to lose an act this weekend.

 

And hopefully the week after it be Stereo Kicks/Jay or Paul.

Ben so far ahead.... :/ Jay bottom is pleasing though, the likes aren't always right though. Stereo Kicks were way up there last week but were bottom anyway, as said a few posts ago it could be international fans! The bottom "likee" is very often in the sing-off though :D however I'm not sure Jay would go in a sing-off with Paul or OTY... Paul could sing rings around him but I bet they'd use the "Jay would sell records" excuse even though neither of them would :lol:

Jay & Stereo Kicks would be an ideal bottom 2.

I agree Jay and SK bottom 2 would be awesome, make simon lose an act (cus lets face it SK are his project).

 

But it will be OTY and Jay or Paul, OTY are totally gonners this week I think.

The original of Will You Be There is #65 too! I'd say Jay is really in danger thankfully, he's been at least top 100 every week so far I think until now (Mad World and 500 Miles both went top 40), I can't remember where Skyfall got to exactly but I remember seeing it on my ipad and itunes on there shows the top 150 so it was at least there.

OTY not charting at all?
