#58 Beyoncé - Haunted

What's this doing so high?

Something to do with the 50 Shades of Grey movie. It had actually climbed into the Top 40 and is falling now.

Nicki Minaj has premiered her new single "Bed of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey. It's just been released on US iTunes, so hopefully it should be added in the UK soon.

I never though I bring myself to liking another Nicki Minaj track after Starships, but for some reason I like that, it just reminds me of the Eminem track with Rihanna "Love The Way You Lie" with a female rapper instead. I do have a soft spot for Skylar Grey tracks though.

Clean Bandit #1 :cheer: its going to be short lived :nocheer:

:cheer: I can see this doing well in the charts.

Yeah I was so happy when I saw this as I really thought Olly would go to number one :cheer:

But sadly it's not going to last :(

Still think Olly will finish ahead, the X Factor performance should rocket it up. Much prefer the Olly track so that's what I'm hoping for!

Was mildly worried Olly could end up missing the top 3 after how slow his pre-order started but he's well on track now especially with his XF performance later.

Woo for Clean Bandit getting that iTunes #1 even if it will be short lived! And very pleased to see Wretch 32 in the top 10 as well, really hope '6 Words' can be at least top 20 officially :D

This is just a case of... it wasn't meant to be :(

I wish Band Aid had released next week instead. This week would have been an exciting battle for #1 for once! :(

It's in a much better position that Sam Smith was last week so hopefully this is encouraging that it could manage top 10 on iTunes but with all the new releases its leaving me doubtful. At least she should outsell 'On The Rocks' by 9pm tonight!

Is it possible for Nicole & Run to shoot up straight to the top10 after her XF performance tonight? How do you think?

But there were about 3 other singles with higher pre's than Olly, so esp. if they were all released in the same week it would probably not be #1 anyway.

Although pre-orders aren't everything though. Gecko (Overdrive) was about 60 or so on pre's but was one of the lowest sellers to get to #1, and quickly fell down the chart...

Gecko (Overdrive) didn't fall down the chart so quickly: {1}-5-8-9-15-13-11-17-25-28-30-34-36-39-42-47-53-56-51-45 (Polyhex)

Secondcity - I Wanna feel however fell down much much quicker: {1}-3-9-13-22-40-46-60-64-63-66

I wouldn't say it fell off quickly, it's stuck around quite well if anything :kink: I Wanna Feel or Lovers On The Sun would be slightly better examples of a high-charting pre-order with a fairly short run (i.e. what *Ben* just said basically x)

(though you're kinda right with the first part, pre-orders don't really mean *that* much in the grand scheme of things)

Well last night Andy C & Fiora were within the top 200 on iTunes and Pitbull was lurking down in the 600s and now Pitbull's ahead! So they're not always that representative.
Is the version of 'Waves' with T.I and Chris Brown on UK iTunes? Or does anyone know when it's getting released?
Andy C lower than Pitbull though :( really want Heartbeat Loud to be a smash, top 40 at least hopefully.

I had no idea Noel Gallagher would be looking at charting anywhere near that high! :o I wasn't aware the single release had much interest, always nice to see a guitar band doing well and not releasing instantly. I need to listen to this.

Olly Murs' song is really disappointingly safe and dull from him, really liking Clean Bandit's &, surprisingly, David Guetta's too. Great that we're looking at 10/11 new entries this week, may actually be an interesting chart to listen to for once.
