The Pogues are 5 places higher than they were this week last year, while Mariah is in the same position. This is an encouraging sign. (Even closer on the sales-only chart as well, with 7 places between them compared to 17 places this week last year).

The problem being that if you play it from the Top Lists (possibly elsewhere?), despite saying otherwise, it plays the original. The remix is #36 down from #12 on streaming, and the original debuts at #58.

Does anyone know if the run of the former is unbroken within the Top 100 or was there a surge when streaming was added earlier this year? 'Radioactive' has dropped out a few times (this is its 5th run in the top 100, of lengths 51, 15, 3, 3 and 22 (so far) weeks respectively). 'Pompeii' is on 91 consecutive weeks.

OK Andy C would have got a play but most of it was the same plus we'd have had to listen to an awful Pitbull song and an even more bland than usual Script track. In all fairness though, it's only because the song it overtook has no streaming at all :kink: That's very true :lol:
November 23, 201411 yr I thought Bubles Christmas would move up due to Saturday sales up to 27. Didn't for see Rod Stewarts Christmas one moving into the top 40 this week. I guess the old artists/MOR are more likely to appeal to the mass market than Kelly or Leona. I'm sure they'll appear in December. It's overall a bit down from last year when Buble moved 37-14 and Rod moved to No20 Buble should get another year peaking in the top 10 and Rod should be around top20! November 24, 201411 yr I wonder what the limited release of the cassette tape will do for the 'Guardians Of the Galaxy' soundtrack this/next week? The film is released on DVD and Blu-Ray tomorrow and HMV are doing a buy the DVD/Blu-Ray along with the cassette tape of the soundtrack together for £2 cheaper (or the tape is £7.99 on it's own). I wonder if it'll sell enough for it to climb back to number 1 on the compilation chart? (Buying my version tomorrow :D) I'm thinking the novelty will be enough and I can see the tapes being surprisingly popular.
