Poor Mariah. I don't think she can hear herself, and seems so cold!

Mariah for me. I'm not a fan of FONY at all! It's so depressing!

I've become responsible for making the votes 50:50! Rise Like A Phoenix!

I chose Mariah because it's a better song and if I'm not mistaken it usually climbs higher than the latter every year anyway. I wonder who the null-voter was and what they would've picked?

Just pushed the Pogues ahead. I'm sick to death of hearing it, but not as sick of hearing that Mariah Carey record.
Wizzard is the best Christmas song ever for me but from those two Mariah just edges it over The Pogues. Both are super though although I'm getting a bit sick of both of them being the highest each year tbh.
The greatest christmas song ever though is obviously I Believe in Father Christmas by Emerson, Lake and Palmer (even though they claim it isn't a Christmas song)

Of these, the Pogues. Definitely love listening to both though.

Was actually a solo song by Greg Lake. Reached No.1 at Xmas 1975.

No.2 Xmas 1975. :P

Love both but in the past year I've found myself preferring Fairytale Of New York (which is such a non-entity here compared to Mariah so I hardly hear it) so that's got my vote. ^_^

In what possible way is it depressing? Lol.

Quite interesting how close this poll has been in the end, The Pogues currently leading by 4 votes though (7 including the null voters x)

Just looked it up. I had always thought the tune was based on Tchaikovsky, but apparently it's Prokofiev

Anyway, "I Believe In Father Christmas" not Santa Claus, quite right! has always been one of my Favourites

"Joel The Lump Of Coal" sounds really quite good. A decent new Christmas song. Hope it goes top 40

I voted for The Pogues

Presumably Shane's beginning verse until Kirsty's verse kicks in.

No.2 Xmas 1975. :P

Yes, sorry, little typo there. Did know it was a No.2!
