The album version got released during the week for whatever reason, or taken off album only I should say. The single version had been deleted! I checked when doing the combined update a few days ago.

Amazing for Fifth Harmony, I expected them to be lower. Hopefully top 5 on iTunes and official top 10 after the X Factor performance.

How is #27 "amazing" for Fifth Harmony? :unsure: I highly doubt an X-Factor performance is going to send it into the top 5 when Nicole Scherzinger couldn't even go top 20 after her performance (and other artists have proven that an XF performance doesn't guarantee success). It's not getting any airplay at all and there's other guest performances tonight, plus they don't have much fanbase (don't tell me "they clearly have a fanbase because they're #27 on iTunes only after 16 hours with a held back release!!") and the song is shit. They haven't had any success anywhere else in the world with the song, so why will they suddenly have a hit here?

The song is unique and will probably stand out the most out of all the XF performances tonight. Considering most people don't even know who they are, the fact they've got up to #27 is pretty impressive. I think top 10 is in the bag after their performance.

Because they have no radio support and are basically unknown in the UK. Also, the pre-order was only added a few days ago, so it hasn't had long to build up to a strong start like the other songs which is why it's #27 after 16 hours with a held-back release. 5H are much higher than Nicole pre-performance, their song is much more interesting than "Run" and although it will divide viewers opinion, it will bound to cause an impression and make a good few sales.

Well, to be fair, 'Bo$$' has only had like a week of preorders as the preorder was only for 'Sledgehammer' before. So it's not like its a millions years' worth of preorders or anything. :lol: (I may be wrong of course, but I'd think it's be a smiling situation to when 'Air Guitar' was removed from preorder briefly)

Oh fair enough. I remember reading that it was supposed to be 'Sledgehammer' that as supposed to be the single instead. My bad. :D

 

(I do think Sledgehammer is the much better song, though)

Just wow. I only actually listened to 'Drown' for the first time this morning and you can see the shift they've made by listening to their last three lead singles - 'It Never Ends' through to 'Shadow Moses' (which remains by far their best song) and now this. Even so, would have never expected them to make such a splash given it was hardly doing spectacularly on preorders.

 

The fact that Capital are having to play BMTH now has just made my day.
