I think whilst you can force a song to be a big hit, you can't force people to like it - the promo will get it out there to more people but they'll still have to decide whether they like it (0I know you're not stating otherwise but it's just a thought that occurred to me!).

Quite right. Unconditionally.

Indeed, I posted it on page 2 of this very topic as well!

I've just looked back and it seems that Radio 1 did playlist it, it reached the B-list before being removed.

Did she get a specific feature on it and the playlist?

Do you mean was Fleur credited on the song or not? If so, then yes she was credited as a featured vocalist.

Anyway if not, this is the information I found. If you click here you will find the Buzzjack playlist topic from May 1st last year featuring 'One In A Million' on the B list - the following week the song was removed so that was the final week it was playlisted.

 32. Bed of Lies (feat. Skylar Grey) - Nicki Minaj

:D

Smash it Skylar :yahoo: Really love this song! Hope it can be a bit of a sleeper hit.

08. Fifth Harmony - Bo$$ [i'm expecting this to debut at around #13 which is still much better than I expected last week]

25. CHVRCHES - Get Away [Getting That top 40 smash!]

32. Nicki Minaj Feat Skylar Grey - Bed Of Lies & #116. [such a shame she never got an x-factor performance slot, this would have been incredible]

39. Olly Murs Feat Demi Lovato - Up

49. Nicki Minaj - All Things Go

62. Profesor Green Feat Mr Probz - Little Secrets

67. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer

73. Nicki Minaj - Anaconda

83. Nicki Minaj Feat Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown - Only

84. Leona Lewis - One More Sleep

132. New World Sound Feat Lethal Bizzle - Flutes

I had no idea that Mark Ronson song was so popular!

I haven't even heard it yet.

Where is this most likely to chart?

The UK.

Just checked and it actually reached #53 officially. Who knew that Fleur East had actually had a hit as recently as this year? :o

(EDIT: Oh it was 2013, oops)

She's in the video too:

I hope Bo$$ will get streaming support. I'm getting hooked to it :D :music:

Reminds me a bit like Move LM

A re-release of this for her winners single please :D

The label would be crazy to miss an opportunity to re-release the track now Fleur is a known name. Just send the song back to radio and TV and should go top 40 no problem (if it actually gets any AirPlay support this time).

Modern Christmas:

76 Leona Lewis One More Sleep

186 Ariana Grande Santa Tell Me

259 Kelly Clarkson Underneath the Tree

439 Justin Bieber Mistletoe

1097 Kelly Clarkson Underneath the Tree

Leona holing up well, though I'd like to have seen it ten places higher at this point. Top 40 looks like it won't happen now - it's quite bizarrely not in the top 200 on Spotify despite getting more airplay and being higher on iTunes than 60% of Christmas songs that are..

Clarko got a play on Radio 1 yesterday  hopefully that continues, a top 200 re-entry would be nice, even though she also deserves a lot better.

Really surprised there's still been no support for Christmas Ariana.

I do think that after the Demi Lovato Tour, Fifth Harmony were indeed inspired by the more sassier sound of LM and choregraphy. Although they may not be reaching a market outside their fan base with it. at least in America.

Wow, that May 2013 playlist has so many gems on it  Lots of summery songs on there that still sound great.

Union J now down to #20 on iTunes, the usual dropping like a stone. Album already down to #25.

Interesting on balance whether they will survive....

So they might fall to like #28 or something :o

Had it been #1 it would have broken the biggest fall from #1 record! :o

If it were #1 the fall would likely not been quite as bad, due to the number 1 effect.
