Olly Murs surely knows how to entertain the crowd, probably the best solo act to come out of the X Factor series. I was surprised he didn't win it to be honest, his career has grew stronger and stronger each year.

Tuesday appearing on pre-orders

Such a catchy song, reckon this could be big next year.

 114. Taylor Swift - Style

Looks like her performance of this over in the US has had an effect here - maybe it was shown on one of the UK channels too?

Where did that Marina song come from?! Did anyone know about it?

Its on the release schedule, and included on the list of releases in the opening post of this thread

 84. Go All Night (feat. Jennifer Hudson) - Gorgon City [PRE-ORDER]

:cheer: Rising really well! Perhaps it'll even go top 50 before it's released on Sunday? Looking like a strong contender for the top 10! :D

The Motto missed top 75, so I'd be surprised if Tuesday made top 100! We'll see though, at the end of the day, when it comes to the charts, the ONLY thing that matters in this case is whether Radio 1 or Capital plays the song. I think Radio 1 might, but Capital is unlikely.

Why have Gorgon City deleted their album from iTunes?

Wasn't this track on the album 'Sirens' which was released in October?

The Motto was MUCH bigger than its chart position though

To clarify, I don't mean Tuesday will be big as in getting a top 10 or anything! It will probably be one of those songs that are everywhere but get a low chart peak like Rack City, Hot N*gga, Main Chick and My Hitta. Songs like that are really popular but the people who like them don't tend to use iTunes

Tuesday probably won't be getting R1 support I imagine.

Maybe the fact that Tuesday is being held back means they're going to try and get it radio airplay on big stations. I think they would've just released it straight away otherwise.

I could see it getting re-released in 6 months and Radio 1 playlisting it then.

That's the idea, but songs like No Mediocre have been held back recently for the same reason, only to be ignored by chart radio. At least it shows the label have faith in the song, so I hope to be proven wrong!

It was on their album, but has always been an 'album only' track. Not sure why they've deleted the album. Maybe they're re-issuing it in the new year?

I'm happy 'Go All Night' is looking to go Top 10 though! :D

354. Imagine Dragons - Demons

466. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)

482. OneRepublic - Something I Need

711. Michael Bublé - Feeling Good

Hopefully. I have just taken a listen to the tracks you mentioned and they're simply atrocious, no wonder mainstream radio ignores them

Isn't urban/hip hop's heyday a relict of the noughties just like eurodance was after the 90s, new wave after the 80s, disco after the 70s and rock&roll after the 60s?

They're the type of songs I hear people play a lot though at work, with friends or going out. Just because a song doesn't chart, it doesn't mean its not popular

I see your point though, urban/hip hop music will never be as popular in the charts as in the early-mid 2000s. To call it a relic is a bit extreme though, its still very popular today

Out of interest, what type of music would you say defines this decade!?

Well The Pogues' 59p version appears to have vanished for the last 18 hours or so :magic: Not showing up in the 59p list any more either, I think it got deleted. At least they will have done enough to be ahead of Mariah this week anyway and hopefully should still hang onto the top 10, I expect Mariah will re-overtake now though.
The crediting for Drumsound & Bassline Smith's 'One In A Million' has now been changed from "feat. Fleur" to "feat. Fleur East". Clever move from them! :kink:
