I'm quite liking 'Bo$$' now after being dismissive about them performing this instead of 'Sledgehammer'.

'Drown' is not bad at all, really reminds me a lot of FFAF.

So Bruno is already number 1... 33k in 1 day.. He will do 100k this week... With 2 days. Huge hit WW.

Positions 3-5 are very close in the album chart, disappointed with Take That dropping to number 5, i cant see them selling much more than 65,000 this week  These days is holding up much better than i thought.

Band Aid physicals must be low and not selling anywhere near what they expected.

For the record, what was the last track to have been #1, drop out of the top ten and then re-enter the top three? I have a feeling it's probably a giftcard effect one if any, but I'd be interested to know what tracks have done it (and why).

(and I want direct re-entries to the top three, no points for Boney M or Frankie Goes To Hollywood)

Union J's single dropping 19 places already...considering it would have been #1 on sales, what is the biggest drop from #1?

Their sales will most likely increase at the weekend. Or maybe people are gonna wait till Sunday so they can get it to Xmas #1

McFly - Baby's Coming Back in 2007 and Elvis Presley - One Night in 2005 both went 1-20, but I'm not sure if we've had anything do worse since.

Don't think the typical Asda/Tesco shopper really thinks like that as they're not chart nerds like us! :P

Might drop to 6 as I said yesterday, George Ezra is at 6 and sold more copies than Take That yesterday with the amount between them being extremely minimal.

Ed's album selling +20k yesterday, just lol.

Come on CHVRCHES. Please stay top 40! Also nice to see Fifth Harmony still top 10, was hoping they'd be slightly higher (#7/8 at least) but it's ok. They haven't needed to resort to dirty 19p tactics to get a smash. :)

Wonderful to see Wizzard in the top 40 too! Hoping it can go top 20 next week, for Christmas chart week!

The Black Eyed Peas' 'Meet Me Halfway' is the closest thing I can find, dropping as far as #10 before rebounding to the top 3 from the giftcard effect. John Legend's 'All Of Me' (from X Factor) and Kings Of Leon's 'Use Somebody' (from a BRITs performance) have done similar things but not quite matching the criteria - both only peaked at #2 and John Legend 'only' got to #4 from the XF boost.

Streaming data for Sunday was missing in yesterday's update, it will now have been included.

Probably explains why 'Yours' has fallen from #10 yesterday to #17 today then.

Predictions for Sunday:

1 Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk (120k)

2 Band Aid 30 - Do They Know It's Christmas? (2014) (90k)

4 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

3 Oliver Heldens feat. KStewart - Last All Night (Koala)

5 Taylor Swift - Blank Space

Take That are performing on this BBC music awards tomorrow so hoping that boosts them. Must say I am very disappointed that the album is struggling. Still, a number 1 single and number 1 album is great and these days is still selling very consistently.
Happy for Mark and Bruno, the former is long overdue a No.1 and the Band Aid song already feels completely irrelevant. I can't see another version ever coming out (at least not using the same song).
