Greg Lake wasn't in that top 40, but in the following week's chart he was #37 (there were 22 Christmas songs in that chart)

Ariana Grande's presence in the top 100 singles has been (almost) steadily increasing since the release of 'Problem' - she had just that one song in the top 100 for 8 weeks, then 'Break Free' joined it for the next 4 weeks, then 'Bang Bang' joined both for the next 6 weeks, then 'Love Me Harder' joined all three for the next 3 weeks, then 'Santa Tell Me' joined all 4 for a week. The pattern was ruined by 'Santa Tell Me' dropping straight back out and then 'Problem' dropping out as well a week later... but then this week both have re-entered and she also has another new entry with 'Get On Your Knees' bringing her total number of concurrent 'hits' to 6 :magic: At this rate she'll lock out the entire top 100 in a few years.

On a slightly less irrelevant but still impressive note Nicki Minaj has had 7 new top 100 hits in the last 13 weeks (2 of which were shared with Ariana of course).

Surely not as much as 'The Days' does?

'Classic' did really well for its peak as well, it's sold a lot.

I actually didn't notice The Days in his original post.

The fact it never got an official release in the end makes it harder to compare with the other tracks though (in my mind anyway).

Classic still did very good considering and is a hit, just a massive gap between Classic with its #24 peak and the three #1's (probably four #1's when Lips Are Movin comes out).
