Meghan Top 100 with Lips Are Movin :cheer:

Great to see Leona get another week in the top 100 at #92. Streaming is really hurting it though as it's only down 2 to #68 in the sales chart. Fingers crossed it'll be able to hang on to a top 100 position next week but I think it's unlikely now. It should stay in the top 200 though. ^_^

Incredible fall for Bring Me The Horizon. (Expected, but I didn't quite expect at Union J level).

Would have thought the Veronicas would be top 75 again this week, perhaps not.

A boring Christmas chart this time but at least we have some movement in the Top 5 (I love all these campaigns!) and the 38th number one this year! Incredible (even though the song is overrated).

I was hoping The Veronicas would do more than just be a non-mover at #93 after almost being on the brink of top 40 again on iTunes during the week, but ultimately I'm grateful they got another week.

Peace Collective not even making top 40 on sales & Iron Maiden just scraping it. Seems the pre-cast campaign era is over & random pop-up ones (Wealdstone) may be more common in following years.

Meghan Trainor gets her second streaming-only top 100 hit! I believe it's the 6th song in all to go top 100 on streams alone (after 'Am I Wrong', 'Classic', 'Rude', 'All About That Bass' and 'The Days').

Really not a whole lot else of interest going on this week.

All of Last Christmas's top 40 weeks this year were benefited by streaming. :o

Ouch for 5th Harmony

Rather Be is so close to re-entering the 40, Clean Bandit are on TOTP on Thursday should climb back inside the 40 next week :cheer:

Sia's 'You're Never Fully Dressed...' #84 on sales, I imagine this wasn't too far outside the top 100. :(

Really not a whole lot else of interest going on this week.

Classic really sticks out amongst the rest of those haha. At least that is something they can be proud of.

Real shame about Leona falling so much thanks to streaming (as her sales are very stable). Shame she isn't on more christmas playlists on spotify/etc which would help her get the streaming boost like the rest of the Xmas tunes.

Surely not as much as 'The Days' does?

'Classic' did really well for its peak as well, it's sold a lot.

Sia's 'You're Never Fully Dressed...' #84 on sales, I imagine this wasn't too far outside the top 100. :(

It probably was quite far from the top 100 overall, songs typically need to be at least top 60 if not top 50 on sales to guarantee a place in the overall top 100 (for example #59 on sales this week is Military Voices who are outside the top 100 overall). I guess Sia probably managed more streams than that did but still.

I was sort of using my ladies The Veronicas as a barometer for that, they're #75 in sales and picked up pretty much no streams and are #93 overall. I'd estimate she must be in the top 110...

Will be interesting to see if Band Aid get a boost next week - The Asda website has redeuced the CD single online to 2p!!!! lol

two pence?

I guess it could get a boost if enough people are still interested but not enough so that they'd pay £4 for it. Reminds me of Hallelujah getting a bargain bin boost
