i am rather taken aback by how much i like this, anyone who is anyone will know my MILD AVERSION to this woman during album's past but this is pretty much a perfect pop song and doesn't sound much like anything else apart from bowling for soup but that is fine as it's a thousand degrees of seperation

She's smashed it again, great song! Possibly my favourite of the year so far despite us only being 12 days into 2015. G'warn Kells.

I hope she has a good, strong year of sales. It might even help 'Underneath The Tree', if she does.

On first listen I don't like this at all. Very disjointed and dated. Can't see it doing much in the UK.

It's Track of the day on R1 I believe and it's doing NOTHING on iTunes. Devastated! It's gonna be lucky to do a 'I Do Not Hook Up' at this rate :drama:

To be completely honest, I'm struggling to LOVE this :( It's very good, but doesn't have the replay factor that basically all of her other lead singles did. Easily the weakest of her leads for me, but perhaps it'll be a slow grower. It's still gutting it's not doing much though as she's obviously still a fave of mine.

 

It's literally just inside the top 1500... On pop :drama: so god knows where it'd be overall if the chart went that far!

I think it's her best lead single since Breakaway. And it will do just fine, it just needs time.

It's still over 5 weeks until it is released, so airplay won't really pick up until next week. Kind of a shame that it didn't really rise much (if at all) being Radio 1's track of the day. I'm sure Capital/Heart will play it closer the time as they have supported Kelly quite strongly over the last few years.

I really thought it would shift some pre-orders today.

I'm still not loving this either. The chorus is very disappointing. It's not as massive as MLWSWU / Stronger / SUBG. It's not catchy either.

I fail to see how this isn't catchy, I can't stop singing the chorus to the point it's almost driving me nuts.

Oh the chorus is catchy, that's actually the best bit for me aside from the bridge, it's just... quite underwhelming on the whole as a lead single. It's like a strong album track for me that might be 5th or 6th best on a good record.

The "upupup" line is irritating me.

I love the song as a whole but I think the chorus is the weakest part even if it is a great chorus it just seems so flat compared to the rest of the song.

I get what most of you are saying. The 'Up' bits in the chorus can grate at times and I feel she could've varied them a little to make the chorus even better or something. Still as a song it's really good and I'd prefer it over MKIA which I like but never truly loved if we're talking lead singles.
