I hope Meghan Trainor doesn't get no.1, the song is so weak. In fact, she just isn't really good a what she does.

Team Uptown Funk this week, Meghan Trainor and her music just jarrs on me so much; one of the few artists I'll actively avoid listening to.

 

Same for me, I don't mind Meghans new track but there's something about her that I just can't stand!

 

Really hope Uptown Funk gets another week at the top I think he could just clear 100k and Meghan could do 80-85k

I wouldn't really consider it an underground song (anymore) tbh, since it's been exposed to a mainstream audience through Radio 1, Armand Van Helden, etc.

Yeah, same. I can't put my finger on it, but ugh. Lips Are Movin' would be a bit of a random number 1 that wouldn't really sell very well, so fully supporting Uptown Funk for another week (which probably mean it'll stay there until Ellie Goulding releases on the 16th!)

I know, there's lots of potential number ones but they all seem to be out mid Feb/March which is annoying as the release schedule is so light on new releases but at least it gives us all things to look forward to!
