I heard the main version of 'When The Beat Drops Out' the other day and I really love it (even though I wasn't a massive fan of the remix that was sent to BJSC last year, think it kinda made it a bit TOO minimal, sry Josh ~), good that it's looking set to be a biggish hit.

Fully backing 'King' for #1, but happy with top 5 even if it doesn't. Still can't get enough of it, a total anthem and his voice is so dreamy!

Glad to see Madonna re-appear on pre-orders, it's not much but it's something. I guess the only glimmer of hope we have is the Brit Awards performance.

Glad to see Kelly Clarkson making progress, though I'm envisaging this as a #22.

Vid's estimate from his spreadsheet for 'No Church In The Wild' is 175k as at Nov 2013 (over a year after its release)

Not bad I suppose, remember it was quite big even after NIP, did it chart in the top 40 for two weeks despite its low peak?

Are capital playing Chris Brown or something?

Are Madonna & Kelly out in the same week? :o best release week imo if so! Shame neither will go top 10 but I can keep wishing  I can see Kelly reaching #17 and Madonna #12 unless the Brits provides a big boost.

Scrap that it was released on Monday apparently. I hope The Brits can help her out but with a midweek release it looks doubtful :(

Wednesday? oh dear, did she not learn from the last time with a Friday release lol.

I think what buggered up the last single was not being eligible for a couple of weeks.

This could work out alright for her, although they should just release it at the start of that week. I really want a top 10, but I'd settle for a top 20 with this. Still, as long as it's higher than #37 that's a positive...

still came 19th ~

:heehee:

Edited by Josh.

For Madonna, i will be happy with top 20 and some sort of longevity and top 10 will be brilliant. It won't have any longevity of course but i can hope.

Also ready for the "lmfao flop!!1" cries from those that are ignorant enough to call the biggest ever female star such ~

Surely people are buying Ayo because of how massive Loyal was

Pleasing to see it so high, although I think Gravity will out-peak it.

What remix was it?

elevates it for me but the original is a jam and i suppose it does make it a bit basic.. glad i will get a bjsc/uk crossover though
I really love 'King' and 'When the Beat Drops Out'. Will be happy if both become massive smashes!
I find When The Beat Drops out pretty average. Liked it for about a month but got boring extremely quickly. Not a patch on New Age...
Vaults in the itunes top 40?!!! Even if it is from the 50SOG soundtrack, I'm still surprised.
Don't artists' performances usually have a decent boost from The Grammys too? Isn't that expected to help Madonna? R2 play-listing goes into affect on Monday too
Madonna's release date has been altered to the date of the Brits (a Wednesday) to capitalise on her performance I think?

Why not release on the Sunday before the Brits.

What do these artists have against a full week of sales

26. Sofia Karlberg - Crazy in Love - Fifty Shades of Grey Version

You would expect Sofia's version to fall after the soundtrack is released on Monday, but the soundtrack is out now in Ireland and Beyonce's tracks are album only, which will no doubt be the same for the UK, so Sofia's version will most likely continue to sell.
