Mark Daniel Ronson (born 4 September 1975) is an English musician, DJ, singer and music producer.

 

While his debut album Here Comes the Fuzz failed to make an impact on the charts, his second album, Version, included three top-10 hits and won Ronson a Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist in 2008. His third studio album, Record Collection, was released on 27 September 2010.

Good to see Hozier getting another new peak this week.

 

Happy to see Mark Ronson spend another week at Number 1 for a seventh week. Should be eight weeks by rights!

If Hozier had got to No.1 he could have beaten Ed Sheeran's record by 1 week. 20 weeks to get to No.1 after entering the Top 40.

Expected but HUGE top two of long-running hits that'll be with us for months. It's a shame 'Uptown Funk's run is about to come to an end as I would've liked to see it do an 'Umbrella' but at least it completely SMASHED that song in comparison with sales!

Hozier matching his Irish peak that he achieved 16 months ago! This has had such a struggle in the UK charts but it's great to see it finally in the top 2!

I'm sure if you look hard enough (i.e. at all) you will find plenty of long running #2s you hate and #1s you love as well. :P
