Poor old Madonna, but as people have said, what great publicity for her, get that Top 40 on Sunday :D

Agree with Joseph that Paloma's performance was the best of the night, though I kinda enjoyed Royal Blood too.

Love George Ezra and wish he'd have won something but that was a really strange mumbly performance of 'Budapest'

Take That seem well past their peak, at least song quality wise, the performance was alright.

And why on earth did Taylor perform 'Blank Space' when she should be promoting 'Style'??

Blank Space didn't feel very awards show-y. Style at least has a bit of a big performance based beat.

I actually felt so upset for Madonna, such an awful thing to happen. I only like a small handful of Madonna songs, but I just felt so horrible for her and massive respect to her for carrying on in such a fantastic way.

No idea what the Kanye performance was all about, I'm guessing they thought he'd not sing the explicit lyrics and when he did they had to mute it (I assume there's like a one minute delay between it happening and being on TV) - such a mess.

Highlight of the evening for me was Taylor getting her Brit award and the fact that nearly everyone who presented an award was a close friend of Taylor's! Ellie, Cara, Karlie and then Sam and Ed in terms of performers as well!

Here's the unmuted version of Kanye's performance:

I think it sounds better muted

I don't even want to listen to the unmuted version after how funny the muted version was

Anyway my top 5 highlights were:

1. Madonna's performance

2. Paloma's performance and vocals

3. Taylor's performance

4. Paloma's Speech

5. Kanye's constant muting

Worst 3 moments:

1. Ant And Dec's hosting

2. The award presenters 'jokes'

3. Take That's performance

George Ezra should have promoted "Cassy O" instead of performing "Budapest". Poor Madge on the other hand, did she fall or was she dragged? :D

Looking at it now, you can see she was supposed to untie the knot in the cape so the dancers could just whip it away. Obviously her fingers aren't that great nowadays either.

It would have sounded better if all of it was muted :(

Agreed. Just awful.

I haven't watched since 2012, it feels good.

The KLF opening the 1992 ceremony with Extreme Noise Terror remains the finest Brits moment ever. Even if Drummond was very disappointed to learn that Sir George Solti left during their performance.

Re: Madonna. To quote Chandler from Friends...'Now, you do THAT. Then you get on television.'
I'd rather he performed "Only One" to try and give that a new peak.
Fall

She was dragged. She couldn't get her cape undone by the time he was due to yank the cape off after the "I let down my guard" line.

Much as I adore her, that is the best TV moment in many a year.

Just catching up with some of the performances. I'm not a fan of either but I thought Ed Sheeran and Paloma Faith were excellent.
