Still can't say I am loving 'Heartbeat Song' personally but glad that Kelly is still showing signs of relevance in 2015. She seems like the kind of artist who could lose relevance pretty easily.

I was quite worried for Kelly, but she's done pretty well.

Fifth Harmony had the one hit, Spotlight did quite well for Jhud didn't it? Not anywhere near a top 7 single that many years after winning a talent show.

I really like Heartbeat Song. It really grew on me. Glad she got top ten

Biography

Pierre David Guetta (born November 7, 1967) is a French DJ and producer of electro music. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007).

 

Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", and "Sexy Bitch", all three of which reached #1 in the United Kingdom, and "Memories". Oh my god I can't believe Eastenders provided such a big boost for a song which was looking to flop.

I found this underwhelming at first, especially after the sublime 'Underneath the Tree', but I will admit that it's ridiculously catchy and has grown on me loads. Helps that I hear it constantly on Capital.

Not a particularly standout song from Kelly there, could have easily fitted into any other of her past eras!
