Looks like Nick Jonas could secure a top 40 placing for 'Jealous'! I'll be happy with that. I wish it could do so much more though. :(

Is So Freakin Tight out on Sunday? If so, it could go top 10 - would be quite the surprise hit. I wouldn't even say its had that much hype.

Also, Cheerleader shaping up to be massive :cheer: The 2015 version of Am I Wrong? in my opinion, with faint similarities to Iyaz.

Yep.

That video though.

Hopefully a #1 2 weeker too :D

It's certainly... out there  Comes across as gimmicky to me though, but it serves it's purpose I guess.

It sounds like a certain #1 to me, wouldn't be surprised if it matched Am I Wrong's success. Ironic again though that the biggest reggae-sounding hit of the moment is by another Scandinavian!

The "Cheerleader" song that has charted 96-86-73-76-{70}-72-86-91-75 thus far on its mediocre and indifferent streaming 'sales'. Hardly signifying it is shaping up to be 'massive' is it?

Well the fact it's spent so long top 100 on streams is surely a sign that it's at least looking to be *pretty* big?

Cheerleader is certainly gonna be a big hit still. Surefire #1 with full radio backing, though even on the off-chance R1 don't get on board it wouldn't do any worse than 'When the Beat Drops Out' or something (since Capital fm have been playing it a bit)

So did "Love Me Harder" - a song which charted no higher than No. 48.

You're comparing a held back track with a post-album single - they aren't comparable as they have different release strategies.

Yes, but you did predict "Lips Are Movin'" to be a massive sure-fire #1 did you not?

It's still a month til Cheerleader's released and its just started getting radio airplay on the stations that affect the charts. Plus, it has been a big hit in plenty of other countries.

Certainly shaping up to be #1.

A big fan of "Cheerleader", but I can't see it being the big hit it deserves to be in the UK. It's streaming seems to have slowed, much like Kygo's "Firestone" (which is already available, I know). Happy to be proven wrong though.

 02. Sam Smith "Lay Me Down (feat. John Legend)" (+ #23 and #83)

 08. Mumford & Sons "Believe"

All for Sam Smith grabbing another #1 this week actually, anything but Flo Rida. Hoping that if Sam can hit #1 on iTunes, 'GDFR''s sales will slow down a bit and let Years & Years at least settle for #2.

I'd be amazed if Cheerleader makes #1, sounds nothing like the bog standard chart-topper!

Plus the held back nature will prove detrimental to its sales here I fear. Top 5 for me at best.

Good to see Sam still rising fast before Friday!!

Re Cheerleader I think the success on streams proves there is demand and with capital On board now it should do well but I think if the download was already available it would rise up the chart as well as it would being held back for weeks and jumping in at the top!

Hmm... not sure what to think about the idea and prospect of this being the first M&S song to go top 10. It's a nice song, but as soon as it's finished I forget what it even sounds like.
