Biography

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. Raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he moved to London in 2008 to pursue a musical career. In early 2011, Sheeran released an independent extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which caught the attention of both Elton John and Jamie Foxx. He then signed to Asylum Records. I know! I'm so pleased, the 3 minutes 53 seconds version was played! I think Scott Mills decided to play it, to be honest.

Scott Mills has now stood in for eight permanent chart show presenters!

That's amazing :o I didn't really listen to the chart until 05/06 but would have loved to have grown up with 90's music/charts!

 

Taped the chart from 1985 until around the mid 2000's. Loved the days of chart dominance of Oasis, Blur, Embrace, Stereophonics. Ocean Colour Scene. Guess I was a big 'Indie' fan. :)
