Fabulous additions for Kygo :wub:, Pep & Rash :dancing: & The Prodigy :music: this week~

I knew it'd happen sadly, in their eyes its the release week and it's flopping.

 

They should have filmed the video earlier and got it out about a month ago, they only have themselves to blame with this one.

They did a similar thing with Little Mix and 'Salute' - dropped it when they had BGT coming up and then it peaked at #6 the following week. 'Mirror Man' won't get anywhere near that, but I didn't think they'd be cheeky enough to remove it the week Ella was in the live lounge. :lol:

 

I had no idea The Avener was even on the R1 playlist, I swear I've never heard it played. Oh well, sad to see it off already.

Ah! Very pleased with the additions of Jessie Ware, Kygo and most importantly, NICK JONAS! :wub:

 

Now for 'Jealous' to be huge please (or something similar to 'Heartbeat Song' will suffice).

 

Oh and Kelly getting that extra week on the B-List *.*

best playlist update in ages, so amazing to see Kygo and Pep & Rash on the playlist :cheer: Both are simply amazing and deserve to be big chart smashes!

 

Kygo is #70 on iTunes right now so hopefully that changes for the better from increased airplay!

They do ballady sweet slightly-indie-but-mostly-pop most of the time. Like if Gabrielle Aplin had a band to back her up.

 

 

That's probably their best song but I love Forlorn and I've Got You too, and then this new one is pretty good as well.

Happy to see Pep & Mash added this week. I enjoyed it as track of the day last week :D

Some great new additions this week The Prodigy, Jamie T, Kygo & is that a brand new Catfish track or just another single? I thought I heard them play it the other morning saying its a new track?

 

On the Mirror Man issue they can still play it even when it's off the playlist.

 

Pity Kanye isn't added this week - it's 11 plays last week and at least 6 this week (it's today's TOTD plus one chart play) suggest they aren't not supporting it. But I wish they would support the On Air releases sooner. What Kind of Man was hottest record a month ago and was just Alisted this week. I'm afraid the same thing could happen to All Day & Believe by the time they get regular daytime rotation.

Really happy to see Kygo finally added too :) and pleasantly surprised to see them supporting Nick Jonas, it's a great little pop song. No Kanye though, not sure what they're playing at there? And as much as I like 'Congregation', surely 5 weeks on the A-list is a bit excessive?

 

I'm glad they are playing Congregation loads as bands like the Foo Fighters don't get support from that many other stations!

I'm surprised they haven't dropped "FourFiveSeconds" yet. Anyone know the longest Radio 1 has kept a song after a release before a song got dropped?

Chuffed to see Kwabs B-listed (along with Ed, Ben and Olly to a lesser extent). 'Perfect Ruin' is beautiful and so deserving of the exposure. :heart:

 

Also very happy with the Jessie Ware, Nick Jonas, Jamie T, Everything Everything and Josef Salvat additions.

 

Oh, and Florence A-listed! A satisfying week. ^_^

and, you know, i started liking Meadowlark. Their sound is amazing, i'm sure they will be payin my attention to their new songs :)
