I genuinely don't know how I feel about all this. We still have Chloe and Danny, so tonight definitely can't be considered a successful cull of the deadwood, and it just feels like the past few weeks have been a waste of everyone's time if we lose so many people in one go. The series has been off to a slow start, but it was by no means unwatchable, and the only feeling I got from the interviews tonight is that most of the evictees still had so much potential in them. They definitely should have left it a few more weeks before trying something this desperate.

New housemates wise, I really like Sam. The other two just seem like the typical all style no substance late arrivals, and I don't think they're going to suddenly make this an incredible series. Showbiz I can't even talk about. He was unbearable in just those last few minutes of the show. God knows what an entire episode will be like.

Showbiz returning. Absolutely gutted. :(

Tonight did make good TV but my emotions have been all over the place. It was heartbreaking to see them beung split up and having some genuinely nice people leaving in such strange circumstances and being replaced by that. Harry has good potential to stir up drama, as does the guy and Sam will hopefully bring fun.

As for the series as a whole, I really have been enjoying it and so it's sad to see it being basically reset. However, if this saves the show from being the last one, I guess it was needed :/

Just caught up while feeling so ill :drama:

Absolutley gutted Sarah is gone, she was by far the best housemate

And OMG ew at Showbiz that is so so awful :drama: Can't we just swap Simon for Sarah :(

I actually find it funny how they done this twist to get rid of The Deadwood but the 2 most boring out of the 6 up and probably in the whole house ended up staying

Oh goodness I haven't even seen tonight's yet but SHOWBIZ sounds like a must tune in moment

In all seriousness why have they put him back in :( I preferred Kieran for comical value over this guy who will no doubt get on my goat straight away. The thought of him staying to the final or longer than a few weeks sounds ghastly :(

Is this year's series the lowest rated of all time?

I normally watched Big Brother almost every day in past years but I've only watched about 2 or 3 episodes this time. Now that they got the best looking housemate Sarah out makes me even less motivated to watch this series.

Whatever you think of him (and god you all DO think a lot about him) just as the panel said on Big Brother, he's going to stir things up. Big Brother has done everything to try and create drama and everytime it fizzles out. This looks like it could be LASTING drama*...

*although he will get nominated and then subsequently evicted as soon as he can, but STILL. Let's TRY to enjoy it while he lasts because that's the only way we're going to make it through his presence alive.

SHOWBIZ.

loved tonight tbh, about time for a change as it was becoming sooo stale I just wish Sarah stayed instead of Chloe

SHOWBIZ

Can't even believe what they've done to this show :( I LOVE big brother but tonight's twist was too much and I really think Channel 5 have put the last nail into BB's coffin. Twitter is going absolutely mental haha!

Also various sources are saying security are on stand by at the house because it's all kicking off.

Yeh, I had a quick search on Twitter and finding a positive comment was like finding a diamond in the rough. There's normally a wave of negative reactions but nothing like this.

I'm really scared for the future of this show. It's shocking that HALF of the original housemates have gone in two weeks.

My timeline is usually delusionally positive but I didn't see a SINGLE positive comment about the twist  A couple were happy to see Harriet/Kieran out but that's about it!

This is exactly how I feel :( I genuinely feel very very sad.

I've watched Big Brother since I was 6 years old, which is ridiculous really. It is my favourite show and I have never once said "I'm considering stopping watching" but this is the first time I can genuinely say I feel like it. The chances are, I probably won't stop watching because I'm so hooked on the show I've loved for years and years but this week I feel like we've completely lost the show. It started slipping away with last years show and now this year, it has really just evaporated into a show that isn't even close to what it once was. But, I never have been one to want to boycott the show I've always adored but I just feel so at a loss with what is happening.

The show tonight was gripping, so I have to hand it to them in terms of how much drama it provided but the consequences it's had are just horrendous. I just tried watching the last 20 minutes of tonights show that I missed on Demand5, and I can't even get to the end of watching it because of Simon shouting "showbiiiiz". They were trying to get the ratings back tonight and consequently I've never felt more like I don't want to watch the show.

Truly truly never felt more disappointed with this show before. :(

NOT EVEN WATCHED A SINGLE EPISODE THIS YEAR.

Why must Big Brother insist on twists left right and center? I preferred it when we had a house of Deana etc where the twists were just limited, the twists are just constantly boring.

Wonder how long will it be before "Showbiz" Gross ends annoying the housemates. When he's annoyed already most of the viewers watching. What happened to a ex female housemate returning?

I think it's stupid, everyone was so relieved to see Simon go initially, it doesn't make sense?! He won't be as entertaining or as dramatic as some people make him out to be either, just f***ing annoying.

The idea of this twist was there but it was just executed SO badly.

Ridiculous

I feel like a part of watching Big Brother is to see housemates journeys and how they develop over time. That's hardly possible when we've lost most of the original housemates already

I really liked Sarah and Kieran. Plus the twins were starting to grow on me again. Harriet not so much, but at least she brought something to the house. Instead we're left with deadwood Chloe and Danny

The less said about Simon, the better

When Simon was in front of his Timebomb last night, I had a feeling it would say Eviction. If only...
It appears that Marc and Jade were on a Irish TV show together titled 'Tallafornia' which is basically like Geordie Shore.

A simple change like all up in a vote to save would've made this twist actually good. I wish there could have been a vote to decide the returning housemate too. Rather than inflicting Simon on us, who nobody cares about, I'm sure at least 3 or 4 of the countless past housemates would have come back. Even if it was just early evictees from C4 series that nobody really cared about or remembered, they'd be better than Simon.

Completely agree with all this :( I feel like it's turning more and more into a scripted thing where "drama" is more important than getting to know and like the housemates. People are saying "it's boring there's no drama" but even Bb4 was better than this! I'd much rather things could develop naturally, even if there's not enough drama, than it all be so forced like this ::/ There was a thread about Adjoa on DS and it made me feel glad for her that she's out of this!

I think I might give Simon a couple of days and if he carries on this way I'm going to at least have to turn off until he's gone. Or at least just watch intermittently, i have exam week in a few weeks anyway and I'll revise for them without even caring that it means I can't watch BB!

This is true, an Irish guy on my twitter is vouching for how awful Marc is :drama:

Also rumours on Twitter/DS say that Danny was 1% away from being evicted :o Idk if it's true, because I can't imagine him being so close to Sarah?! Unless the evictees werent' in order, which does make sense. I expect Sarah mgiht have got more votes than Kieran and they just left her to give her an individual interciew because let's face it there was a lot more to ask her than deadwood Kieran! If Danny was that close, it gives me hope that the same people who saved Ashleigh by evicting Jale and made a shock eviction out of Winston are still trying to save this series

Also, apparently Chloe was by FAR the least voted for, with a miniscule percentage!
