Yay! Firestone in the top 40!

Is it really THAT unlistenable? :lol: It doesn't seem like the kind of track to provoke such hatred. And I don't think Rita's vocals are particularly excruciating, I can see it with Charli but not Rita. Each to their own of course though.

 

I can see it with Rita, she sounds incredibly common.

First time listening to this Kygo track. So far, so good :music:

And I'm astounded that Doing It has managed another week top 40, it was like #48 on iTunes most of the week and was out of the top 40 on Wednesday. Didn't expect it to get a 6th week so I'm ecstatic. My fav Charli song for sure. I'll holla if I spot you on Wednesday Joseph.

Still not massively feeling 'Firestone' but it's sounding a bit better than my first listen (which was about a month ago lol).

Only my 2nd listen of this, but I've heard plenty of praise for it on here! I think it needs time to grow. Half the new entries out at once, though!

Firestone is amazing. Also, only the second song ever to make the top 40 based purely on streaming.

I hate Firestone almost as much as I hate that it's the leading face of tropical house in the charts. (well at least MMFB is sticking around :heart:)

Well... "The Rhythm" completely flopped, but at least there's hope for "Firestone"!

Yay for more random Australian artists making the chart though Conrad's singing lets the song down a little.

"Firestone" sounds like an interesting record, nice contrast between the vocals and the instrumental
