March 4, 20223 yr One of cricket's greats, really sad, 52 is no age to go. RIP Shane. Terrible few days for Aussie cricket.
March 4, 20223 yr I always liked Shane Warne as a cricketer and a commentator. I saw him play once in 2001 when Middlesex played Australia at Lords. He was fielding on the boundary near to where I was and was quite happy to sign autographs and engage in some banter with the crowd.
March 4, 20223 yr I've never really watched cricket but I used to hear Shane Warne's name a lot over the years so that alone shows the big and positive impact that he made in that sport and 52 is too young to die. RIP Shane Warne.
March 4, 20223 yr Gone too soon. I remember my dad used to get up early to watch the cricket. I came down and asked how it was going for England. The response was that "Warne was up to his magic tricks again". R.I.P. Shane Warne.

March 9, 20223 yr Bit late to the story about Warney but 52 far to young. The ‘ball of the century’ is still baffling me to this day how he did it and I’ve watched it 100 times. Love Mike Gattings reaction as well!
