Gossip - Standing In The Way of Control

I hear 'Heavy Cross' much more than this these days despite obviously being a much lesser hit! Both are great though.
'212' is fantastic! Not really liked much from her from what I've heard away from the '1991' EP apart from the fabulous 'Chasing Time'!

will do

The Gossip, sorry just Gossip now, are a band that I would have thought had more than just the one Top 20.
Gareth Malone was only a featured credit on the Military Wives song. I just thought it would be good to hear Alice introduce a song on which she herself sang on.

That's true I suppose. Although charity tracks may be overlooked as it's a bit of tenuous link to a one-hit wonder perhaps.

There's that Bravery request :D

This is a great track though, shame they didn't really amount to anything large.

It also charted: 64 in Nov 2006, then 63-42-34-25-27-17-{13} before magically appearing as a 'new entry' at No. 7 the following week.

There you go Bre, "An Honest Mistake". Sounding pretty good too.

Hooray 'An Honest Mistake' I've never heard anything else of theirs but this is quite possibly the single best song to come out of the 'landfill indie' phase, so they've made a great contribution to music on this alone! :kink:

My request for this earlier was granted so I'd next like to say Porter Robinson to get a play please!

"Unconditional" is just as good, and was used as the BBC Final Score music for a while (before being replaced by Friendly Fires' "Jump In The Pool" and lately NONONO's "Pumpin' Blood").

Never liked anything about the 'Harlem Shake', not the song nor the dance craze. Thank God people seem to have forgotten all about it.
