Crickey - album sales look unbelieveably low. Whats the lowest ever weekly sale for no1 album?

I think someone mentioned earlier it was Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' with ~9k, even though I was convinced it was Emeli Sande's album that held the record, but in any case they won't be quite that low this week.

I know I've said it before but I really am surprised that James Bay's album isn't selling as well as the likes of George Ezra considering he was the Brits Critics Choice etc...
Poor Omi and Dr Kucho. They deserved #1 as well as Wiz and would've got it under different circumstances, and it looks like it will happen again for Carly  Still it could be worse by having another #1 as a musical alternative to a sleeping pill! -_-

Emeli held the record for the 21st century before Rihanna - 13,430 for Emeli and 9,578 for Rihanna. Also before Rihanna, the lowest #1 sales since Millward Brown started compiling the chart from February 1994 was The Cranberries' Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? with 11,981.

James Bay is on track for 13.7k at the rate he is going. Chances are that he will at least pass 15k with the weekend effect.

Insane Sales for Wiz there! Hopefully Jess Glynne can reach be back upto #3 by Sunday.

Oh good, I knew I wasn't going mad :D

If James Bay continues to shift >2k at day he may well reach ~15k by Sunday ~ very poor, but not calamitously low~
Still wonder if Lethal Bizzle could still make top 10 even after what happened with Tough Love and Sigma. It seems like top 5 in sales can't even guarantee top 10 in the official chart.

And that was the most easiest album update, I've ever done, so many new entries in there, only 1 album going up and that's from Kodaline.
Just realised Major Lazer are still 14 even though they are 8 on Spotify so they better have climbed a position or two by Sunday.

Surely everyone has those Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith albums now, boring drop 3 in album charts

I'd rather James Bay stayed at the top by Sunday instead of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. Those two need to go away from the album chart and not to bother returning or trying to return to #1
