#16!

FYI, Christina Aguilera's Bionic was at #10 on its second week in the Tuesday mids. It then fell to #14, #15, #18 then officially #28. To be fair, its sales 'only' fell 24,301 to 9,754 which isn't that bad considering. I think ATL will suffer a worse drop in sales, if not positions.

^^ Will probably fall out of the Top 20 then but it doesn't look like it will do a Christina Aguilera :)

Well done Wiz with those sales, and theyll hopefully not fall dramatically either day by day or weekly either due to the fact its quite a new song. Overly held back songs take note please!!!

Album sales could be the worst ever tho :(

I wouldn't worry about the album sales, its probably pretty normal at this time of the year. Didn't Bastille stay at #1 for 2 weeks with low sales last year around the same time, and following on, album sales picked up. There is hardly any new albums that can sell big numbers at the moment, Blur and Mumford & Sons are out pretty soon, they should sell quite a bit, its just a dry patch at the moment.

#7 is a decent start for Tyler, The Creator. Should safely be another top 20 album for him ~ It seems to currently be download only which probably isn't helping though.

Wow for Halestorm, I thought they might have been top 5 in the first mids at a push but wouldn't have named them out of all the releases this week to be the early #1! They're not going to hold on anyway but claps for them.

Hold My Hand down to #5! I'm assuming that Nick is #6, Years & Years at #7 (or the other way round), James Bay at #8, Ed & Rudimental at #9 and Maroon 5 at #10 then.

Also, I'm quite surprised Lay Me Down [Comic Relief] is still in! (it's definitely dropping out by Sunday though, every week its falls have been getting bigger, and it dropped 8 places from Wednesday's update to Sunday last week. I knew it wouldn't be a long runner like most other Sam Smith songs!) Just to know, where is it?

Robyn at the same position as Steve Harley was on the Tuesday update! And for anyone interested, its chart run was: 8-16-29-42-65-71-98-98-OUT

Record store day on Saturday which may help album vinyl sales - could boost sales a little.

It's a shame that OMI looks set to stall at #2 seeing as he was high on pre-orders. I blame the record company for constantly holding back the release date and for iTunes not removing the fake version. Seeing as there's no major releases this Sunday, I reckon Wiz Khalifa & OMI will do a Cheryl & MAGIC! and switch places the following week. I also hope that streaming doesn't rob Lethal Bizzle of another top 10 and I hope that Major Lazer & DJ Snake will crack the top 10

Omi has already released his pre-orders. If anything Wiz will increase his lead this week and next..

Looks extremely likely now that Dr. Kucho will remain top 10 which is good.

Would love it even more if Lethal Bizzle stays there but I can see it dropping like stone through the week, hope it at least makes top 20.

They're a heavy rock band with a female singer. They haven't had any hits over here so I ain't surprised at the questioning.

They won't hang on sadly :( looks like James will be back on top quite easily.

I think Ed Sheeran will actually be #1, for the first time this year!

Tuesday Update

Singles

1 Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth (63.3k)

2 Omi (41.1k)

3 Dr. Kucho! & Gregor Salto (19.0k) *

4 Lethal Bizzle (14.0k) *

15 Major Lazer

25 Robyn [Dancing On My Own] ^

Crazy sales for Wiz :o I really don't know if I hate it for stopping Omi from getting #1  it still sounds like a very good song :D

Great for CSP getting #3! :D but another unlucky #3 which would have been #1 as it is behind two VERY strong tracks! :(

Fester Skank is this? I still haven't heard it yet but I guess I should now

Hoping ML gets top 10 soon! So catchy right now :music:

Haven't heard this yet but everyone seems to be raving about it so I guess I'll listen to this as well

It is the two CHART SAVIOURS that are Sam Smith and John Legend. If anything, of course they are going to slow down after recently big falls

Do you remember how many were sold last yr? Its pretty decent isn it?

^^ Vinyl sales will be huge with Record Day, Also as HMV are not allowed to take part they are holding lots of special events and have 40% off all vinyl which should be a further boost to the format.
