had a load of potential genres of varying ages but opted instead for one I loved from last year. Just because I love it and it wasn't a hit, sales, streaming, radio though it did feature in the media for a bit....

I've been told by Jack that there are 2 official vetoes (possibly more to come later). Definitely gone are these two though:

Erik Hassle - No Words

Rachel Platten - Fight Song

I have informed the person who sent Erik but the other person's PM inbox is full, could you delete a few PMs please? Thank u ~

No surprise at Rachel Platten, looking to be massive in Aus, NZ and US! And of course, she won with 1000 Ships
OK. I've just listened to that 'Fight Song'. It definitely screams BJSC smash more than official chart smash, so God knows why or how it's doing so well in various countries ! I do like it though and I would say that's a fair veto (fully expecting it to be the XF winning song at some point maybe? :kink: ). Not heard Erik's song, but I've seen a bit of online hype surrounding it, so I guess that's a fair choice too.
'Fight Song'! But yeah, I think a month or two earlier it'd have been fine (the song is actually around a year old!) but it's taking off a lot at the moment, surprisingly so!
Ooh, interesting both that someone entered 'No Words' and that it was vetoed (despite there being barely any responses in its thread, where the sender and anyone else should feel free to comment any time! :funky:) . It would have been a strong contender for my 18 points but I'm happy in a way that it didn't make it through as I prefer having as many new discoveries as possible. ^_^

I think it's basically going to do a Brave - be big in Aus/NZ/US but not do much here. It could easily be a Sara Bareilles song too I suppose.

Lol I'm not even charting it though

EDIT: Okay chart contender but it wasn't in my official top 50 lol (almost did last week but then Conor had to debut his new single :drama:)

Unfortunately I knew Hypnotic would be vetoed, I've been meaning to send it since December but have always been wary of the veto-ness of it.

I've always wondered how strict the personal chart veto was. I got vetoed included adding Magnetic to my top 200 of 2013 which wasn't really fair (and wouldn't have even had it there if I didn't decide to bring my EOYs over from UKCAW

And I hope the veto checkers actually go through the PC threads rather than adding the threads that come up in the search because I add a lot of songs as contenders for my chart without actually charting them
