Believer deserves to be HUGE. Of course it won't do as well as Gravity as it's not at all commercial sounding, one week top 40 would be a huge achievement for a track of its type.

 

Aside from that another lousy week for new releases so hope they all flop, especially that awful Walk The Moon rubbish.

Eric Prydz deserves another big smash but sadly it looks like it'll never happen.

 

Generate isn't even out until tomorrow anyway, but I can't see it making the iTunes top 100

Airplay aside, it's great to see Zedd looking to maybe hit the top 10 on iTunes. His pre-order was one of, or the lowest of pre-orders yesterday.

Gives me hope for Britney.

I would love Zedd to get top 10 with this. I've been loving the song for MONTHS and still not bored of it. A silly release strategy but hopefully a decent peak for it after all of that!

Oh well. :lol: Hopefully you'll like something on her album. There seems to be a real mix of sounds from the reviews of the showcase she did. 'Ladders' is apparently a bit funky and 'I Got You' and 'Another Love Song' are very uptempo and catchy.

I expected Walk the Moon to be a top 5 contender but at the rate it's moving now it'll be lucky to make the top 10, oops. Glad it's underperforming anyway, the song is overrated.

So is scrapping the top 40 the best we can hope for for Leonas career now? What went wrong?

Walk The Moon doing very well despite slightly lacklustre airplay (B-list on Radio 1, Capital FM and the likes will never touch it), and not particularly great pre-orders :o Good to see them defying the odds though :D!

 

(on a more serious note; they're at least out-selling Rixton, which is pretty good :kink:)

The public haven't lost interest - they just have no idea she has a new song out. It's only been played around 220 times on radio since its premiere. The only major radio stations spinning the track are Radio 2 and Magic which aren't stations that affect the singles chart much. I think Leona being #30 actually shows there is interest there despite poor airplay.

I was thinking that? I'm guessing a radio station have started rotating it because Fight Song was not top 1,500 on Friday!

 

Looks like Rixton will miss the top 40 with this.... Ouch!
