1043. Felix Jaehn - Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) [feat. Jasmine Thompson]

I will be surprised if this doesn't go to #1 when it's released at the end of August.

Where do people think Flo Rida and Robin Thicke will chart next week with I Don't Like It, I Love It?

Doing decent on pre-orders, everywhere on radio and probably the catchiest chorus I've heard this year! Hope it goes top 10, but you never know these days.

09. Zedd Feat Selena Gomez - I Want You To Know [it should manage until Friday to be top 10 on iTunes, but I'm guessing it's going to peak at around #14]

14. Rixton - We All Want The Same Thing [it's actually not dropped as fast as I expected, I'm guessing it will finish at around #24 in the chart]

29. Leona Lewis - Fire Under My Feet

41. Ella Eyre - Together [i'm hoping this manages another week top 40, I really don't want her to continue flopping]

Pre-Orders

50. Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me [Could this go to #01? I think it's a possibility especially with sales being so low]

58. Tinie Tempah Feat Jess Glynne - Not Letting Go

61. Little Mix - Black Magic

128. Fifth Harmony Feat Kid Ink - Worth It [i've just noticed that the release date has been pushed back again! It was due out on the 21st, It's now being released 5th July]

Really frustrating to not see Charlie Puth Feat Meghan Trainor having no pre-order yet as 'Marvin Gaye' is #01 on Amazon and has been for over a week

Moved back again  they are desperate to build up enough pre orders to get to no1 arent they?!

Hope their downloads the week they are released are effected by it being held back!

This song has broken the World Record for most words in a song, he spat a total of 1771 lyrics :o

Previous record holder was Rap God, so pretty impressive going!

If they wanna change the release date of songs, put some out this Sunday as there's no major releases then

I think it'll do reasonably well and reach the top ten easily, especially since I discovered last night that it's already available for streaming so hopefully it won't suffer from low streaming sales like some new releases have recently in their first week. I honestly never thought that we'd see Robin Thicke anywhere near the top 40 again, just shows the effect Flo Rida can have

Indeed Avicii was meant to be out this week and was put back 2/3 weeks. He owuld easily have went to no1 this week imo!

I think it'll manage the Top 10. Even if it did miss due to the three other contenders for the Top 10, I can see it sticking around anyway.

It is undeniably catchy but it's kind of hatched on to the whistling trend that existed 3 years ago and the chorus lyrics remind me of Naughty Boy's 'La La La'.

I know no-one likes pushbacks but it's a very very clever move from Syco to push Fifth Harmony back to July 5th for a number of reasons. Firstly, it's only going to be a 5-day week which will mean acts with big fanbases won't lose out towards the end of the week so badly, and Fifth Harmony have a massive fanbase (which still baffles me considering their minimal UK success). Secondly, that week doesn't have much competition, the biggest competition coming from Years and Years and all signs point to Fifth Harmony outpeaking them at the moment. Finally, it's now not releasing on the jam-packing 21st June week alongside Lost Frequencies and Tinie Tempah amongst others, which would have pushed them down a couple of extra places.

All that considered, Fifth Harmony are now in with a chance of #1 in my opinion with top 3 almost certain. I'm thinking Lost Frequencies will now be #1 on the June 21st week, and I can't see Rita putting up a threat. So it'll be possibly Fifth Harmony vs. Lost Frequencies for #1! :cheer: It's worth checking the pre-order situation, they are just about to go top 100 with a month until release. Only Little Mix are doing better and their release is afterwards.

All that said, the only thing that can throw a spanner in the works is the release of Apple Music on June 30th (we believe). If the "3 month free trial" streams count towards the chart (I personally don't think they will as no money is being made from them via subscriptions or adverts), the charts will be absolutely all over the place with sales sky high - Fifth Harmony are doing well on Spotify though in other countries so maybe they won't be affected like many other new acts are.

I'm not a huge fan of Fifth Harmony, but 'Worth It' has grown on me loads. I wouldn't be adverse to it taking the top spot, since it could mean back-to-back girlband number 1's, with Little Mix releasing the following week. Has that ever happened before?

Yes- at Christmas in 1998.

B*Witched were at No. 1 “To You I Belong” for w/e 19 December, and were knocked off the following week by the Spice Girls' “Goodbye”.

He had a song a few years back called Out Of Control which I loved! I think I even mentioned it on here since it sounded a lot like As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber (except with rapping instead of singing).

Its a good move if your record company believes getting to no1 is the be all and end all of things but in the 3 weeks its held back it would most likely be missing out on 150k worth of sales and still peak quite high!

I think for Fifth Harmony a lower-selling #1 will be much more useful than a higher-selling #7 considering they are a brand new act. #1 will give them extra headlines, extra airplay, extra media coverage - you wouldn't get that with a #7 hit even if it sells more.

If we were talking Little Mix then a higher-selling #7 would be more beneficial in terms of getting more income as they don't have a brand to create, but a #1 for Fifth Harmony would be so so helpful in terms of promotion and them being able to have a long-term UK career.

Like it worked for Rixton? :kink:

There will always be acts that don't fit that pattern! To be fair, the handling of their releases has been very poor, they waited like 4 or 5 months to release a follow-up single didn't they, and then another 6 or 7 months to their single now?

In general, having a #1 automatically moves you into a different league for several reasons - at least in the UK.

It kinda did work for Rixton. I think a lot of their support right now, (top 13 in UK airplay) must be riding on the fact they had a recent number 1. The song just is not connecting.

I know, I was just being funny. :P But you're right, I do think a #1 for Fifth Harmony would help them in their future career, especially since they're a bit different for a girlband with their main sound seeming to be urban/R&B and they seem to be picking up interest around the world.
