It sounds potentially massive to me, are they bagpipes I hear? However, I feel like she's lost the chance of getting future success in the US as I doubt radio will pick her up in a big way again after 'I Really Like You' not being massive. The UK and Ireland still seem to be here for her though!
Sounds interesting, but I'll wait until the official version leaks before I can give a proper opinion.
The middle 8, the 'Run Away With Me' chant throughout the song, the insanely catchy saxophone/bagpipe sound. This is massive, I'm in love!
I really hope Radio 1 and Capital support 'Run Away With Me' because this could be absolutely massive.

This could be massive for her. It's great.

Hopefully get's more support than IRLY in the UK but more importantly in USA.

THIS IS AMAZING

NO WORDS. So much better than IRLY, which I kinda went off quickly. It was a blatant attempt at recreating CMM, which ultimately failed as it was just cute for a whille unlike CMM which is still pop perfection. This is much more anthemic and just a "bigger" sounding song, surefire hit with support.

I don't think it's better than "I Really Like You" which is one of my songs of the year, but it is really catchy and a nice follow-up.
This is great! The production and melody are fab. I love 'I Really Like You' too, have a feeling I'm gonna get the album.
Run Away With Me is f***ing phenom. Song of the summer contender.
This is easily the best song of hers that I've ever heard  So instant like you said. She has delved in some horrors in the past (mainly: 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You') but this blows any of these out of the water. Sold on first listen!

This should have been the comeback, it's huge! :o

I think this would have got her taken more seriously if she'd have returned with this.

Considering IRLY was a hit over here, I hope she gets the support she deserves.

I don't think it sounds like a #1 but I think it could match the success of 'Good Time'.

This is actually quite good, altho after IRLY it wasn't hard to up her game

This is pretty incredible really, isn't it? For me, it's like when Taylor did "I Knew You Were Trouble" and she was no longer a girl just doing cute, fun pop, she was really making big stuff. This is undeniably fantastic and everything a pop song should be without any of the cringe "I Really Like You" tagged along with it. Extremely impressed.

Whether she still has enough support to do well anymore, I'm not sure. Scherz might have a very good point that she'd be in a much better position right now if she'd have led with this.

Yep, sounds like a smash. Very very catchy and exactly what she needs as a follow-up.

I still think it was smart to lead with 'I Really Like You' though, as she was gone so long and that song's cutesy novelty appeal was in the same vein as the only thing she was remembered for, so it was a clever re-introduction (and I say that as someone who's actually indifferent to the song itself). If she'd led with this, I'm not sure it would have made the same impact from the off, however now she's regained the profile for it to fulfil its potential.

I agree. I can't speak for other countries, as she had very varying levels of success in different countries, but I don't think this would have gotten the same support IRLY had gotten initially, because it had been so long since she had a hit, but stands more of a chance now that she had decent success with a slightly more novelty song.

IRLY made very little impact regardless of whether it was novelty or not. It's more annoying than novelty to me.

It didn't do the job it was supposed to. It re-introduced her but nearly every major market, bar the UK, turned its nose up at the song. I'm talking Germany, Sweden, Aus, US.. Sure, it went top 40 but it was a disappointment.

They could have kept some more of the novelty elements but re-introduced her with this track.

I guarantee that Tom Hanks lip synching to this song would have got the same attention but the single would have performed better because it's a superior track.
