Enjoyed tonight's episode though...the Kathy scenes were great I can't wait for her storyline to properly start

From the 18 September to the 30th October Eastenders will probably get shuffled quite a bit due to the Rugby World Cup been transmitted on BBC1, the opening England match is to be scheduled for Friday 18 September, I'm assuming no Eastenders that evening for sure depending what time the matches are transmitted..

Do they show the Rugby on 2 channels? As ITV has to reschedule the X Factor for 2/3 weekends because they air Rugby too.

They show Rugby on both channels, I'm assuming BBC1 will air the England matches, not sure how things are going to work out yet, not really a Rugby fan myself, but some programmes will get tossed around all over the shop.

I feel so sorry for the woman who plays Pam: she tries so hard to make her scenes work but they're just dragged down by Les who stands stiffly with the same gasping expression. I hope Les doesn't have a cross-dressing storyline because you just know it won't be done justice with that unforgivable acting, but Hollyoaks have done a similar story and you know how soaps like to copy each other.

I hope to God they don't give Les the pantomime actor the transvestite storyline. It'll be like a sketch from Little Britain.

I laughed when Pam was talking to Les about dinner after they had their heart-to-heart :lol:

Roger Sloman is abysmal. I love Pam though, Lin Blakely is great! Les being a cross dresser would be an awful storyline, oh god :drama:

They said transgender though, I assumed it would be a new character, not transvestite :P It was just Les being a cross dresser it'd be very disappointing, I assumed one of Claudette's old foster kids would turn up transgender maybe.

Perhaps they'll recast Les with a transgender actress who can act and this is the best way to write this appalling actor out? I wish.

Knowing Britain and bloody sport it'll be on both channels :drama: Which I think is ridiculous.

 

As for the Les thing I just have no idea what it will be... It being something obvious like Donna is his secret daughter is unlikely imo so it'll either be something disappointing or a ridiculous thing like him being a crossdresser (maybe not exactly that because that'd just really take the piss :lol:).
