Well that was a load of shite. Pretty much no emotion despite it built up to be a character-driven storyline - did Ian and Phil actually care that Dennis had been chucked out a car window whilst it was doing multiple rolls? It was blatantly obvious Vincent wasn't in the car and just as obvious that Fatboy will be in the car and he will be killed off despite it supposedly looking like Dennis is going to die - just a repeat of what happened last New Year, no?

Yep, exactly what I thought - Dennis in a car accident too just like Emma! I know Dennis is hardly the most exciting character ever but him dying would be more impactful than Fatboy, plus as with Emma everyone has said it'd be him for ages beforehand so it's not a shock or that sad, it was just "oh that happened, thought so".

I think one of the most interesting things for me is that could Kush actually not be the father after all? Could Stacey be deflecting the guilt she has for it not being Martin's onto Kush when in fact the person who *is* the father is actually someone much worse/more inconvenient. When was Max last around?

I hope I'm wrong but I think that Stacey actually believes her kid is the son of God and it's part of her postpartum psychosis.

Yeah I think so, that'll be why she said "nobody will believe me" and you can already see the signs - she looks a bit shell shocked for want of a better word, for example.

I just read this on Digital Spy, definitely makes sense when factoring in that she gave birth in the Nativity play stables. Lacey is an incredible actress when given the material so I'm sure she will deliver it brilliantly if this is the case!

Oh, and I also loved the dream sequence at the beginning - I was gripped within seconds!

Yeah, that's where I saw it too. I mean she was fantastic with her initial bipolar storyline in 2009 and I can imagine just the same for this one, but what from what I've read, the actual material just seems a little...ridiculous? I don't know, I could be wrong and it could work really well, but EE has been a bit too OTT with most of its storylines recently and I just want something which is believable and character-driven and something us as viewers can sympathise or relate to.

I seriously hope Fatboy's exit on Christmas Eve was just that and he's not being killed off. I could be wrong but wasn't Claudette absent from tonight's episode? Perhaps she's the one in the car, but then that could just be to throw us off.

Nah, I read somewhere that she's going to show her true colours after Christmas so she's safe

I thought that after I saw the preview of tomorrow's episode actually. But I thought a storyline was being set up for her with regards to want Aunt Sal said to her a few weeks back, so I feel it's unlikely.

Well it was weird how Stacey kept having the story of Christmas thrust in her face multiple times over the past few weeks so I guess it was to make this odd storyline seem a little less out of the blue.

Although if Arthur wasn't early then that puts conception towards the end of March. I cannot remember but we're Stacey and Kush even a thing then? I thought the implication that they'd slept together happened in late June as it was the day Shabnam discovered she was 5 months pregnant. That would mean little Arthur is 3 months early. Is it possible that Stacey slept with Kush earlier in the year?

I think Claudette will be in the car.

I'm not sure if it is. The obvious is Fatboy but I'll be really disappointed if it is Claudette. She has much to explain-what happened to her husband and whatever Sal was referring to. it also seems wrong that she dies before Les's story gets progressed any further or we get to meet any more foster children.

She'd be killed off for a cheap shock rather than exploring her at all. A bit like When they dropped Ellen Thomas' last character Grace Olumbumni.

What a shit episode of EastEnders that was. I suppose Fatboy's death will be swept under the carpet just like that other guy that Ronnie killed. And the Who Killed Lucy? storyline will obviously continue at some point :/

This year wasn't the best Christmas episodes,i dont know it lacked the excitement of previous years. The who killed Lucy storyline needs to be wrapped up, its going on far to long and i im tired of im going to the police, no im not, im going to the police please dont, ok i wont etc. Im so sick of Ronnie as well, id love her to leave but with Jack back that wont happen, if she is staying they seriously need to inject some happiness into her.

I am looking foward to Dean getting his comuppance though, that should be good, and please give Kim more screen time.
