It would be sick tbh if that's what's gonna happen. I know EastEnders have done these type of storylines before but this time Mick almost looks like he could legitimately be Whitney's father :puke:

They were better than the Xmas episodes.

I wish Glenda stayed longer. I don't think Lucas is in for the long stint, the actor is also committed to another series.

I'm pretty sure Mick won't allow or want an affair, I definitely think it'll be the option of Whitney developing a crush but being unsuccessful - I think the recent story with Lee is to show that Whitney isn't 100% committed and therefore would risk acting on that crush.
Glenda was just so *.*. I'm so glad they planted enough seeds for her to return again eventually, she basically stole New Year off the Carters. Shame she isn't staying but after 5 years away she still makes me rofl.
she cant act tho

She doesn't have to be able to, she's utterly hilarious. And can we just at the fact that Glynis Barber is supposedly 60 years old?

New trailer for January:

I can't work out whether Roxy's left permanently now - the scenes tonight seemed pretty final. It was nice to see Glenda back but she wasn't quite how I remembered her.

Intrigued to know what is to come of the Lucas/Denise storyline; I'm sure it'll give Diane the chance to really shine rather than just being the best at what little material she's had to play with recently. How long was Lucas sentenced in prison for?

Also, the final scenes of Linda and Mick marrying were soooo sweet.

Glenda's return was exactly what I wanted with some good lines and a couple of sneaky secrets. I hope we'll see her back this year.

I was surprised to see Lucas back (I was totally expecting Jordan instead.) I thought the Carters wedding was beautiful too. A happy ending at last.

I hope Lucas turns into a pure psycho, i liked how we was towards the end of his last stint. Lets hope he kills of a few of the deadbeats on the square.

Has it been confirmed who Ronnie and Roxy's brother is?

Looks like Claudette got her own husband murdered :o

I could be wrong, but he's been mentioned before hasn't he?

I hope they're setting up for him to arrive.

Danny Mitchell, Ronnie and Roxy's brother, appeared briefly 5 years ago. I hope they will recast.
I hope Danny doesn't come back. That's one retcon I would've accepted. Very interesting to see where they're going with Claudette. I have a feeling Glenda will appear again this year (and she is definitely needed).

I thought I saw a picture of Amy (perhaps in Jack's wallet?)

I think Danny will be back but as said above, hopefully a recast because the original actor was woeful.

completely forgot Danny existed  The Mitchells definitely need a more interesting storyline than Phil's alcoholism and the feud with the Hubbards, hopefully Glenda will return and bring that.

I don't think Vincent's dad is dead, I think he walked out on his family and Claudette being the proud woman she is concocted a lie as she was embarrassed at not being able to maintain her marriage and to protect Vincent, expecting Vincent's dad to join the show at some point tbh.

I do think Claudette has another reason to dislike the Mitchells though.

If anyone would like to host an Eastenders Character rate, please don't hesitate to PM me or post in here! Last years was very successful but there's been a whole bunch of new characters and character developments (Bobby ) since then so it would be great to see a version for this year.
Another really good episode! And I'm glad we finally get to see more of Kyle and his background story. Lacey is just on top form *.*
If they did bring Danny back, they'd definitely need to recast - he was abysmal
