she cant act tho

This. Every time she's on screen it just makes it all seem more unbelievable and she is terrible.

I hope Lucas turns into a pure psycho, i liked how we was towards the end of his last stint. Lets hope he kills of a few of the deadbeats on the square.

He can join with Bobby and kill half the Square

Who were the randomers with Kyle though? :o

The girl was his best friend from school and the other two were his flatmates.

Also, they mentioned Siobhan and Shannon who are Kyle's sisters. So I guess they'll be appearing at some point too.

I can't even think about how they can torture Shabnam further. Perhaps next week could feature an episode of her being repeatedly whacked with sticks? You know, while all her 'friends' are having a good laugh.
Rakhee Thakrar is pretty much the best actress EE has right now alongside Laurie and Lacey, I'd rather Shabnam just got a break though! I love her and love her screentime but there's no need to torture her quite so much. The stillborn baby was enough, we don't need the cancer scare, her husband cheating and said cheatee just happening to be her best friend!!
And now she's infertile :drama: Jesus wept. Only just saw the ep, didn't know it was on
Well that was a emotional one, I don't know if I like what they are doing with Stacey, she's a complete lunatic now.

Well they've already had her being beaten, but the sticks would be a new development :kink: Really though, she's my favourite character atm and the actress who plays her is fab, I'm just hoping she gets a positive storyline soon.

If anyone would like to host an Eastenders Character rate, please don't hesitate to PM me or post in here! Last years was very successful but there's been a whole bunch of new characters and character developments (Bobby ) since then so it would be great to see a version for this year.

Me and Cameron would be happy to do it! ^_^

Yey, thank you! Start it whenever you want!

The second episode tonight was fantastic! I love how all the stories are interlinked somehow - like when Martin said Kyle wasn't Stacey's brother which made her think he was after her despite us knowing Kyle's transgender etc. Also, Stacey 'seeing' Charlie in the cab was a lovely touch. I was hoping for more emotion in Kat's scenes but they were still performed good enough and I'm enjoying how the drama is fast-paced despite the whole week just covering one day and night.

Looking forward to Monday's episode with Martin/Stacey's scene on the roof.

Shame they don't do an omnibus anymore because I want to watch this week again; I kinda feel it needs a second watching. iPlayer it is!

Two incredible episodes tonight! Incredibly emotional and unbelievable performance from Lacey Turner. She deserves all the awards. I really enjoyed seeing Kat and Sharon / Phil and Alfie's scenes together as well.
Lacey Turner is bringing her performance out of the water... it's been amazing to watch her character deteriorate! Clearly the best actress in the show alongside Laurie Brett and Jessie Wallace (when she wants to bring it, she brings it). Big Mo is the worst though.

^I don't think Big Mo was too bad, she's clearly not the strongest of actors in the show but she's not really meant to be anymore, she's usually there for comical relief.

I think Lacey has been given more material to work with in the past week than she has ever since she returned to Eastenders!

After a disappointing Christmas, everything from New Year onwards has been very good and very engaging. It helps that I really like the Carters, and the Slaters are my favourite Eastenders family. Lacey Turner is doing such a good job.

Something seems to have changed behind-the-scenes since the latest Exec Producer came on board. The show feels so much cleverer (personally I think the Lucy Beale mystery was one of the most intelligent pieces of soap I've seen.) Not only are they delivering on big shocking stories, but it's the small details - Anthony Trueman returning for Patrick, Ryan Malloy making a small appearance, Libby Fox popping in and out, even the way scripts are written - it feels much more realistic, and I think it's doing wonders for the show.
