The release date for Cool For The Summer is beyond ridiculous, it just shows how shit Hollywood Records is. Good For You is Selena's first single under Interscope rather than Hollywood and that was released straight away, but they're leaving this until AFTER summer :drama: OA/OS doesn't necessarily work for them either, but I mean 4-6 weeks would be long enough to hold it back.

This release seems to be being handled by Republic by the looks of it, I can see them bringing it forward once they see the demand is there.

During cd days they would always hold back the big holiday dance track from the med until mid sept when demand was huge as people heard it on holidays and couldn't wait to buy it.

 

Obv tho back then people couldn't get it any other way so it generally went to no1 lol
