It should have been whoever got the 2nd most votes regardless of what was in the envelope. Becusse I'm pretty sure Sam would have got the least votes to evict.

Agree! I said this to my son. It would have been Chloe then I think.

Her or Jack I think

Sam deserved to be there more than the others. They went with her tho not because she had the most money because they still had a vendetta of the new housemates.

And because she's an easy target, has been for a while. I didn't like how quickly Danny jumped up. I know they all had to do it but I felt others genuinely didn't like doing it.

And Moneys involed as well....Hes sneakier than a snake I hope and pray he doesnt win it

BOTS continuously insisting that it wasn't a fix. As someone on DS rightly pointed out, they didn't clarify what the money values actually meant until after they had chosen, so they easily could've altered the twist depending on who got what amount. I imagine if Jack or Chloe got the 15k, then it would've been that amount deducted from the prize fund, rather than added. Sam was always destined to go imo.

I still really think it was Fixed Ever since its been moved to Channel 5 I have been less and lessed trusting of the show. If Jack wins I will KNOW its a show that's fixed because I know he is hated.

They didnt tell the money values but they could have altered the outcome I.E. Said it will be deduced if it was Jack and Chloe.

Me too. I can take anyone but him and Chloe winning. He thinks he's got it sewn up. I can't stand Jack but compared to those two he would be acceptable in my book.

That eviction for Sam was SO a fix  of course they were always going to choose the person who had the biggest sum of money on their card.
This is probably the worst BB Final line up ever IMO . Like I genuinely don't have a clue who I want to win and I normally have someone who I want to win regardless if that person was my favourite from the start or if my original favourite had been evicted .

Chloe, Danny and Jack currently in the iamspamspamamibitching about Joel. Pity that lot were not broken up before the final. If he disagreed he should have said so? I thought he did, over and over.

I'm way OTT and always get hyperbolic over BB but I think in 10 years of watching (and having retrospectively watched pretty much every series of both this and Aussie BB) I've rarely, if EVER been this annoyed at an eviction. Not because Sam is my absoltue favourite to ever get evicted (I did love her but she was there by default because of Jade going tbf) but because of it being SO unfair, when she was just scapegoated again even though she probably got the least votes to evict. Of course you can't prove that, but the only evictions that were this unfair were ones where the housemates decided (like Vanessa BB6, Gerry BB8 and Danielle BB15). Of course the public get it wrong numerous times but if they get the most votes to evict thn someone going isn't really unfair, it's just not great when a good housemate goes. But I think this is the worst one of the housemate decided evictions, because to be honest Sam could have had £1k, £5k or £15k and she'd have gone either way, surely they knew that. It was pretty much as close as they could get to fixing it without actually fixing the votes tbh. At least when Vanessa, Gerry and Danielle went for example. It could just be bad luck that Sam picked the "wrong" envelope but ugh.

(anyone can tell me I'm overreacting but most of you know I get like this over BB :kink:)

Disappointed but not shocked to see Harry go tonight, I haven't seen how she's been Tuesday-Thursday but she definitely sealed her eviction tonight. I can't help but really like her though, sure, she's angry, she's negative, she's stroppy but I can't help but find her very likeable because she's very normal. I feel many of the house have been scared to step a foot out of line this year and she just wore her heart on her sleeve. I totally sympathise with how she is, when she's upset, she just wants to be on her own and it quickly boils over into anger and wanting to take it out on something or someone, that's exactly how I am, as opposed to letting it out and getting it off my chest. So, I can competely understand her but I get how it doesn't really translate very well over a TV show. Still, one of the more interesting characters of this year.

As for Sam, I disagree with the way she was evicted, didn't agree with it with Danielle or Marlon last week and I never will enjoy the housemates deciding. Joel's "I'm not willing to make this decision, it shouldn't be my decision" stance was totally understandable. As for her being evicted though, whilst I like her and think she's one of the kindest housemates this year, I don't think she makes for a very interesting housemate. I think that showed in the fact her interviews on both sides have largely centred around the fact she created a few irritating catchphrases, a little like "showbiz". Lovely girl, but not a big loss to the house at all and I don't think she really warranted a final place.

Quite happy with the final and like that the final 5 are all originals after how much they tried to tamper with it all. Definitely Team Joel now though!

I haven't watched tonight's eviction as I've been out but I guess I'm the only person who is glad to learn Harry got the boot. I don't get how being a brat and being so mouthy can be classed as entertaining. For me it made for hostile viewing every time she went off on one evidently at Nick or Joel.

Sam won't be missed at all either but it's a shame to some extent as I expected her to be entertaining. Pleased Chloe didn't go as well. I don't get why she's been painted as someone horrible this week. To be honest I actually went off Danny moreso for the way he spoke to her in yesterday's show. Very rude and disrespectful.

Jack surviving though :puke:

I'm so with you on this. Usually I'm pissed for an hour or so when a housemate I like goes under normal circumstances, no matter how much I disagree with the public's decision - but it's the producer-engineered results like this that just leave a bad taste in my mouth and make me want to switch off for good. The 4 in/4 out twist almost did it for me, since it seemed grossly unfair for those housemates given that they weren't even nominated, but at the same time, at least there was still public input in the evictions. This one was just inexcusable; made worse by the fact that she likely had the fewest votes to evict. At least she nabbed 5k in the end anyway, which is more than the 5-runners up will get (bar Chloe obvs).

Even so, I won't be watching the final week. Not even in a protest sort of manner, just due to a lack of interest in any of these housemates. In fact, the prospect of any of their smug faces being crowned the winner is really quite nauseating.

(And I know what you mean about the overreaction, I get far too invested in shows like this. I imagine it'll be playing on mind throughout the whole of work tomorrow. It's really quite unhealthy.)

I mean this isn't even just because it's Sam, had it been Chloe or even Jack (as much as I dislike him and would have been happy to see him go) but they knew damn well Sam would have gone regardless of what was in her envelope and that's what really gets me. I don't like these evictions where the housemates decide but at least in some other cases there was a wider choice or they had equal standings. Sam has been used as a scapegoat for weeks now and it's just crap she was shafted right before the final after surviving a vote. People can say it's just unlucky she picked the highest envelope but I don't buy that, they all had a vendetta for no reason.

They should have let the evictee KEEP their amount, then they'd have hesitated to throw her under the bus

Jack seems to have turned things around. His ranting against BB and the annoying Chloe has made him go up in my estimations.Him or Joel winning would annoy me the least.

Whispers are that Sam was told (afterwards of course) Jack was 2nd in the vote. If that's true I'm even more annoyed now >_<

Should have defo been the second person with the most votes for sure.

Of course they was gonna go with the sam

Just when Jack was flying under my radar after being my least favourite housemate for along time he reminds of why I disliked him so much. Everyone is discussing Sam's eviction and all he can do is go round to people telling people his reaction from the crowd is ok and "at least we are still here" Has there ever been a more selfish housemate?

As for Danny he is just awful and the others trying to make him into a hero for standing up in a milisecond to get rid of Sam. I don't see how its "cowardly" of Joel to stick to what he believed. Danny is intimidated by Joel and doesn't like that he has his own mind and he can't manipulate him and get him to follow his every word like Cristian.

Oh and you did spell CANOE with two E's!

Yeah I'm now starting to go off Danny as well he has a bit of a aggressive streak which seems to go off when it's something Joels said. He doesn't like that Joel honestly said he didn't want to vote anyone out and made a great big issue out of nothing arguing that he should have not chickened out of voting fairly. I didn't like how they all went with Danny's option for Sam to go compared to his two mates either very sheepish of Nick and Cristian...
