Ive ordered my Golden Discs exclusive version along with the colour vinyl edition.

2 weeks ago Santa Baby was averaging 9.5k streams a day. It has steadily climbed and yesterday it's streams were 47.5k. The most wonderful time is now in her top 25 daily streams. Throw in the single and the other tracks makes it clear it's time for me to make a Mea Culpa, even this far out.

The Album is going to do way way better then I first imagined.

IM starting to feel the same and especially for week 1, its pretty much guaranteed a new peak, we just now have to hope a way is found for lets get to it to do the same someday so that all of her studio albums have a top 10 peak.

No 1 in the albums may also depend on what Taylor decides to do that week.

I'm not sure I see anything bigger that week on the release schedule.

I am looking forward to Hot December too.

I am going to love Office Party i think too.

Kylie turned on the lights at Battersea Power Station tonight - back in the UK and Christmas promo has started

Seems strange this appearance wasn’t announced in advance but maybe it was fairly last minute…that or she had an hour free inbetween packing the shelves of the pop up shop.

She sang or just shouted XMAS and the crowd ........ were not interested haha.

The original version of this album was released 10 years ago today (!)

It looks like she's trying to get a dance routine going for it, similar to 'Hot to Go'

It was planned but not publicly announced - I guess they have to control crowds etc

I think so. I wonder when Xmas was finished. And in a good way there was no indication it was coming which made the surprise even better and same with album as usually we get rumours beforehand.

Just remembered Kylie did the ‘XMAS dance’ on her instagram video when she announced the album last week. Where she’s superimposed on top of the tree.

Yep the announcement last week took us by surprise. Given that XMAS is already available for streaming I do think waiting to release repackaged album digitally is a bit outdated…it’s still a bit early but next Friday could have been its digital release with the physicals following as published.

She said she made 3 trips to the studio in June between Tension tour dates, so I presume then.

I remember her in 2015 also saying Kylie Christmas was recorded in June. That must feel so weird for everyone involved

Of course, I’m sure Kylie could’ve said no if she didn’t like it. But it definitely comes across as something a social media manager at the label came up with to appeal to TikTok.

These things need to happen organically, I just cringe when an artist tries to start a dance trend.
