Avicii's latest singles are really uninspiring, but he still gets over 100 million plays on Spotify with ease for every single.

Avicii and Calvin Harris really need to re-invent themselves IMO.

Oh I hope not, that would just be TOO overrated a run  we would need another See You Again to give it some competition :P

There's also the new Calvin Harris track meant to be coming next week and its down on te schedule as on air on sale. Last time he did that he scored number 1 with Blame

Blame had a lot more hype than this new one does so I very much doubt it'll be a contender

Unless it turns out to be a Taylor Swift feature *.*

Edit - I just did some research and it seems this is not the case. I'm sure Calvin might manage top 10 though?

I can't see Black Magic staying at Number 1 for 4 weeks, even by default. It's had 1 green update on kworb in the last 30 hours

I've always seen Taylor Swift usually gets hype because of her music videos :o

Just listened to Waiting for Love for the first time and.. PLEASE stop him getting hits with this style!

Surprised you've only just heard it now, it's been huge in Finland for weeks. :P

I don't dislike Waiting For Love as much as others do. At least it's not as obvious of a Wake Me Up clone as The Nights and Hey Brother were. It does make me chuckle seeing it underperforming seeing how much Capital FM hammered it, though it's not getting much support from other radio stations.

Well I think 'Waiting for Love' is just a rehash of 'The Nights', although somehow a little bit better. It's annoying that 'Wake Me Up' used to be incredibly original sounding but has now been cheapened by the attempts of recreating it.

I always thought it The Days part 2 tbh.

I'm really hoping that Shine can pull ahead of Black Magic before Marvin Gaye arrives.

That would be fabulous, but I can't see it happening unless they have some kind of big promo slot in the coming weeks. I'm hoping it can spend 2 or 3 weeks in the top 3, though.

Well 3 different no1s in 3 weeks is not the norm this yr so it will be good to see.

Calvin had a preorder with Blame to give it a boost upon release - he should do the same with this!

Well, Calvin re-invented himself with "How Deep Is Your Love", which features uncredited vocals from Ina Wroldsen in case someone wants to know who is the vocalist.

Blame had a lot more hype than this new one does so I very much doubt it'll be a contender
It was also benefited that Calvin and John perfomed it on the iTunes Festival in its release date and it had a huge Spotify promo, so I'm wondering if this will be the same plan (or even better?) for it next week.

4 weeks at #1 for Black Magic? :drama:

I just noticed that Felix Jehan has changed the release date for Aint Nobody to the 21st August. Silento will have a better chance of #1 after all.
