I’ve had such a good year for concerts so far! I’ve already matched my record for most in one year (2018) and will surpass that very shortly as I have a few more coming up (Diana Ross tomorrow!). I’v

Joseph dear, stop trying to ignore this Friday

I fancy a concert sometime this year (provided i can get someone to go with me hmm~)

I was thinking of travelling to Scotland to see Shawn Mendes (his other dates don't work for me), u in? X

Trying to think back, been to quite a lot:

Cee Lo Green

Mutya Keisha Siobhan

Lily Allen

Emeli Sande

Katy Perry (twice)

NAO

Ariana Grande

Nicki Minaj

Justin Timberlake

Big Sean

Pharrell Williams

StooShe

Blonde

Gorgon City (three times)

Disclosure

Lion Babe

Coldplay

Tori Kelly

Paolo Nutini

The 1975

Keri Hilson

Kelly Rowland

Mariah Carey

Beyonce (by far the best of the lot, getting front row for the Formation tour and making eye contact with her several times, will never forget)

That's all that I can remember just now. Some amazing ones and some questionable choices from a few years back. Definitely glad I saw most of them live as most were fantastic (actually I definitely enjoyed all at the time, even Pixie).

Got JoJo on Monday too, so excited!

I got tickets to see You Me At Six in April the other day, I'm not sure if my friend is gonna be able to make it though, she said she wanted to go but would get back to me but they announced that Tonight Alive and Black Foxxes are supporting them and I got too excited so went and got them, I've not told her yet so I'm hoping when she does get back to me its to say she is up for it
maybe if you were going to see good people I would come

Yeah I should take your advice, come and see Dutch Uncles with me x

Oh what! I thought I barred him from my country after the Treat You Better debacle

Yeah I should take your advice, come and see Dutch Uncles with me x

I don't know who they are..

I just found out Marianas Trench are coming to Edinburgh so bought tickets to see them :D seeing With Confidence in march and Broadside are supporting them so v v excited for that ^_^

Hoping to see Bastille at some point again this year - definitely one of the best nights of my life seeing them (both times) so at this point I'm just DESPERATE to see them live, doesn't matter where in the UK they are. I'm already saving up money for potential transport lmao :,)

There are some occassions where I go to live concerts, but I don't go very often.

Acts I've seen live over the years:

James Brown (August 2006. Greece)

The Waterboys (July 2007. Greece)

Michalis Hatzigiannis (2007. Greece)

Vasillis Lekas (August 2013. Greece)

Some concert celebrating the 90th anniversary of traditional Greek musician Mikis Theodorakis (August 2015. Corfu)

Happy Mondays [Pills N Thrills N Bellyaches 25th Anniversary] (06/12/2015. O2 Academy Oxford)

Primal Scream and Public Enemy (May 2016. Common People Festival)

The Land Girls (September 2016. O2 Academy Oxford)

Michael Kiwanuka (October 2016. Live session in my local record store)

I've seen lots more live music but these are the actual ticketed official concert events I've been to off the top of my head, pretty sure that's everything (if it's not I'll just edit it in). Not that easy to get to many of the gigs I want to because London but we are getting a fair few more big acts in Perranporth and at Eden so I might try getting more at those places.

I think Dutch Uncles did a remix of Ain't It Fun by Paramore and ik Taylor from Paramore stans them but that's as much as ik

Bastille and Rationale were SOOOOO good
So saw these guys yesterday.

Bastille were absolutely amazing and I was impressed by Rationale too, had a great evening. The best part is I was getting absolutely OBSESSED with Send Them Off! for the last few days and Bastille opened with that. :magic:

Bastille; Rationale (The Eden Project, Cornwall [Eden Sessions]: 15th June 2017)

Great to hear Jacob! I was rather impressed by the 'Fuel To The Fire' EP from Rationale. Did Bastille do 'Flaws'? That's my fave of theirs

Bumping as I already have 3 concerts booked for this year which is practically unheard of for me! :o

4th March - The xx (Nottingham)

24th March - Craig David (Birmingham)

17th November - Little Mix (Birmingham)

Incredibly excited for all of them!

Can now add 2nd December - Gorillaz (Birmingham) to this as well! Think this is the most concerts I have been to in a year *.*

Got Lorde booked with Lottsey on 28th Sept and PVRIS with Lotti on sth like the 24th November, buzzinggggg  Never thought I'd be so buzzed for Lorde but Melodrama has slain me.

(Also seeing Saara Aalto among other irrelevants at Bristol Pride in like 3 weeks *.* *.* *.* *.* *.*)

Rationale closed with that one, it sounded really good! Yes they did, fairly early on in the set, I love Flaws too! Dan went and walked through the crowd for Flaws. Oblivion was a moment tho.

I'll be at that PVRIS concert (probably with Iz)! :o

Edited by Jacob.

I have Paramore on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T THINK I'M EMOTIONALLY READY

I'm also going to my first Concert (excluding the 2010 Girl Guides Big Gig :kink:) that's outside of Scotland in September to see Lorde, I mean it was only a matter of time before Lotti and I went to a concert together, I'm SO SO hyped for that, especially since Liam is coming too! :cheer:

and then I have PVRIS with Lew and Cameron in November :drama:

idk if I've posted in here yet but this year I've already seen All Time Low, State Champs, As It Is, You Me At Six, Tonight Alive and GIRLI... I feel like I'm forgetting someone :kink:

Tonight Alive were supporting YMAS but I can't believe that by the end of the year I will have seen my top three favourite bands ever, live in the same year

Ooh how were All Time Low? Ever since release I've been thinking just how much of an EVENT Dirty Laundry live would be, certainly v jealous of you seeing them *.*
