October 30, 20159 yr I do like this, quite catchy but not a fan of that bizarre male vocal in the chorus. Sounds like a bit of a knock-off of Problem as well.
October 30, 20159 yr I don't mind the fact it's a copy of 'Problem' because I think that sound works so well for her. It's just those male vocals. The verses and pre-chorus are heavenly (and I'd argue even stronger than those on 'Problem') and I love her little 'focus on meeeh' hooks but the guy's voice is horrible & just very annoying.

Baby I (04.0/10.0) Hopefully 'Focus' grows some more as it had the potential to be one of my favourites from her (the pre chorus is one of my favourite Ariana moments ever). I just can't help but find the chorus incredibly annoying though, it only beats 'Break Free' from the last era for me, which was my least favourite song on the whole album. Oh Ari.

October 31, 20159 yr This is so disappointing! While I rather liked the visuals and verses, the chorus is so jarring it almost makes me shudder. There was definitely potential there with the build-up and whatnot but I can't imagine coming round to that chorus at all. Awful!
