November 4, 20159 yr This is an amazing story of a Basel fan who got lost after Champions League qualifier: http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/mi...r&ocid=iehp
November 4, 20159 yr So, show of hands who else thinks that Bayern will spank Arsenal tonight after the shock previous result? *Raises hand*
November 4, 20159 yr I don't think Arsenal will get thrashed but they will surely lose tonight. They definitely wont win against Bayern away from home.
November 4, 20159 yr Author And already Arsenal a goal down and had a disallowed Ozil goal. Expect it to be a couple of goals to Bayern,
November 4, 20159 yr So, show of hands who else thinks that Bayern will spank Arsenal tonight after the shock previous result? *Raises hand* It's not looking good for Arsenal so far. It puts Man C's performance last night in perspective. Bayern's first-half performance has been about as good as it gets.
November 4, 20159 yr Bayern Munich outclassing Arsenal is both pleasing and very entertaining to watch :D
November 4, 20159 yr Olympiakos winning is the real kicker there. Saying that, if Arsenal can beat them and Zagreb then they only need Bayern to beat Olympiakos. Not impossible at all.
November 5, 20159 yr Apparently Arsenal need to win both of their remaining matches which also includes beating Olympiakos by 2 clear goals. They will also need Olympiakos to lose against Bayern Munich as well. I personally think Arsenal are heading for Thursday night football which would be the most satisfying outcome for me  ?v=Opy4Wu-ig2I Edited November 5, 20159 yr by Hazza Chapman

If they win and then blow it against Olympiakos they'll really be kicking themselves.
November 5, 20159 yr A 3-2 win (or even higher-scoring one goal win) would also see Arsenal through (as long as the other results go their way).

If they win and then blow it against Olympiakos they'll really be kicking themselves. You didn't mention Arsenal needing to beat Olympiakos by at least 2 clear goals........ A 1-0 win for example against them wouldn't be enough if the two teams were tied on 9 points at the end of the group stage because of the head to head record.

November 6, 20159 yr I don't think Arsenal will get thrashed but they will surely lose tonight. They definitely wont win against Bayern away from home. And they did. :cheer:
November 25, 20159 yr Not as comfortable as Barcelona  With three goals, two penalties and six substitutions in the second half, the referee signalled just one minute of stoppage time. When Roma scored about 20 seconds into that minute, he ended the match. Either he was desperate for the loo, or he was putting Roma out of their misery.

Either he was desperate for the loo, or he was putting Roma out of their misery. haha ------- Bayern completely wiped the floor with Olympiakos & Arsenal completely outclassed Zagreb which led to an anti-climatic night of Champions League football in Group F. I stopped watching just before Sanchez scored their 3rd goal. Bayern are through to the knockout stage now so it's a winner takes all match between Arsenal and Olympiakos in Greece to decide who joins them. Chelsea are all but through as well after winning against Maccabi Tel Aviv. A win against PSV tonight for Man Utd should be enough to qualify for the round of 16 and of course Man City are already through but Juventus will almost certainly qualify to.
November 25, 20159 yr Winner takes all. And if the winner is Arsenal and it's 1-0 or 2-1, "all" is a spot in the Europa League.
November 25, 20159 yr Man United's Champions League matches this season have been torture to watch! barely any threat attacking wise and tonight's match was no different.
