September 30, 201511 yr Wolfsburg are playing brilliantly. United look like Van Gaal forgot to recharge the batteries overnight. (They will still win.)
September 30, 201511 yr Author If I'm correct I'm sure when David Moyes was manager of Man United they didn't lose a game in the group stages with Leverkusen, Shakhtar and Real Sociedad. Am I right?
September 30, 201511 yr You are correct he won 4 and drew 2 of the group stage matches that year, including a 5-0 hammering of Leverkusen (his best result as United manager).
September 30, 201511 yr Author 1-1 at half time thanks to a Mata goal. Still goalless between Gladbach and City.
September 30, 201511 yr Joe Hart having a blinder, further adding evidence to always starting your 1st choice keeper?
September 30, 201511 yr Thank the lord for that penalty. Crossing everything for Gladbach to win. A loss for City and a win for United would be a dream night for me (not just because City are our rivals, but because I'm a Gladbach fan)
September 30, 201511 yr Now we're f***ing talking. Beauty of a touch by Mata and then a inspired wee dash by Smalling to tap it in. Champion!
September 30, 201511 yr Author Thank the lord for that penalty. Crossing everything for Gladbach to win. A loss for City and a win for United would be a dream night for me (not just because City are our rivals, but because I'm a Gladbach fan) Your dreams could definitely come true. Thanks to a Stindl goal. And also a Smalling goal for United. Get in there!. It's great to see Gladbach back in the European Cup after 38 years. What a great result this would be for them.
September 30, 201511 yr 2-1 win for Man United, job done! What a great pass that was from Mata for Smalling's goal. I think Juan Mata might be our best player along with De Gea.
September 30, 201511 yr Job done, off & running. Bit of pride restored to the Premier League with both Manchester Clubs winning too.
September 30, 201511 yr City came back really well from going behind. Just about deserved it in the end.

October 20, 201511 yr I'm very much looking forward to Arsenal getting knocked out of the Champions League tonight :D
October 20, 201511 yr That wouldn't be possible even if they lose but it'll be as good as. I could see them nicking a win tonight to strike up some faint hope, but they'll get demolished at the Allianz.
