Well done Lee, a double win really is quite an achievement. Really AMAZED at that result for Singerpurear, wow at any 80s track being able to do that well, that's great to see (and sorry I didn't vote for it - I've never been big on the track weirdly). Very pleased to see my favourite four all in the top ten <3 So close for Aeroche!

Math, may I make a suggestion?

 

You regularly seem to have issues regarding your health and voting, perhaps leaving things until the last day doesn't help you? Maybe try and vote earlier just in case?

Well, 'grats again Lee, Not sure on this particular song winning as it feels a little too uninspired an entry for reasons discussed earlier in the thread BUT I won't begrudge you a win, back to back Aquafina contests? :-O

 

Fairly good top 10 for the most part (mainly helped by Beaverdonia not voting :heehee:) Amazing to see Singerpurear in the top 10 (IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED OMG) and all of my top 5 did fairly well, Ethanola should've been higher though.

I definitely will vote in advance in the future. I procrastinated the first couple days and I've been sick since then.

Elated for Lee as I loved his winning track. Also brilliant that Altyr finished 3rd! Second time my 18 has finished 3rd (after 'Paradigm').

 

Most of all pleased that Singerpurear absolutely stormed it into the top 20 for the first time, let alone top 10! Ahhhh <3 Fantastic for Cor Lupus getting their first top 5 as well so quickly, doing it for us BJSC 74 debutants.

 

A few tracks too low for my liking (especially Avalonia :() but oh well. Looking forward to returning to Aquafina next contest even if I'm out of the country for most of it, bring it onnnn.

oh, so it is over? well done Lee then! it's a brilliant song and if I'm bummed it's the two-fer of my complete failure and the fact that Safe With You was my fave song of 2013 and I never would've dared think to send it.

 

apart from that the top ten is not really to my tastes except Singerpurear which is SUCH an outlier - I'm definitely very out of touch with this contest's tastes this year, like dandystar said too. not sure where to go from here - I have some songs I LOVE but I may need to canvass to see whether they're the right thing to be considering.

 

that is if I can even enter as I'm going on holiday next week - we shall see.

I really appreciate you fitting it into the original schedule, as I said in my PM to you, and in general to everyone I hope I haven't sounded too bitter in this forum - it's just hard to not rly have a clue what to do any more. the contest is still a great source of great music and great fun but it doesn't feel like anyone made a great discover from my song which is a shame.
