I am FUMING that 'Jealous' is back, such a horrible abomination. :puke:

I'd hoped that would stay in 2014 and forgotten. Yuck.

Me too. Damn Simon and Cheryl's crocodile tears. That performance wasn't really that good. <_<

Well, British public don't disappoint me again. Justin Bieber number 1 this week and Sigala next week please!

Pretty sure they weren't "crocodile tears" this time around. The only thing contrived and fake about this performance was the emphasis on the meaning of the song, could've been done without the sob story, but with it hitting Simon so soon after his mum died and Cheryl not seeing Simon in that way before, it was obviously going to be a bit emotional.

It was an actual good performance of the song too, imo. I really don't like that song, but he really did it well.

I'm not as seasoned when it comes to where a song charts in correlation with its pre-orders but for whatever reason I was convinced that Demi would definitely at least challenge for the number one spot so it's been disappointing that really she won't even get close to it. I almost wish it had been released a little earlier too, it just doesn't feel right that a song called 'Cool For The Summer' won't even be officially charting in the Summertime.

It's summer for 3 more weeks so it will chart during the summer period

The song Jealous is great, I am happy to see that it is back, it rocks xD

At this rate, Jealous will be higher than Cool For The Summer in the official chart!

(I'm now confident it'll receive a full play on Friday. Top 100 for Crying For No Reason will have to do, though I'm hoping Tiny Dancer can crack the top 75)

"Jealous" is such a beautiful song so I'm glad it's back in the charts

And I basically cried when it was performed on Sunday so I can understand how Simon and Cheryl would cry too considering the background and the fact they watched it live. They have feelings too you know.

'Jealous' really isn't a great song. But X-Factor really know have to manipulate the audience's emotions, even if some of it was genuine.

86 Carly Rae Jepsen Run Away with Me

X-Factor effects really pushed this down over the weekend, but I'm glad to see it rising again. I'm keeping everything crossed that it sneaks into the top 100 by the end of this week. A-list next week, please!

Sometimes I forget that officially Summer doesn't end on the first September :( I'm still sorry to see Cool For The Summer not achieving the success I assumed it would.

With Air Play increasing for What Do You Mean and the VMA/video effect still staying strong Bieber is actually pulling even further ahead of his competition. I guess that's number one sewn up for this week if it wasn't already

Meteorologically summer ends on 31 August. Considering it was only 14C here yesterday, and frosts are forecast for later this week, I think I can agree that Autumn has almost certainly started.
Yeah, Summer is June/July/August officially. Though September often does come with its fair share of sunny weather. Hello Autumn. Does this mean Q4 has officially started?

Q4 is October onwards I believe? But yeah this is defo Autumn now

I must be one of the few that actually likes Jealous!

I didn't like it that much the first time around but it came up on Apple radio a few weeks ago and I fell in love with it.

What is it that most seem to dislike about it? I usually dislike Labrinth but, for me, it's a beautiful song.

Anyway Justin Bieber has consolidated his position at #1 - against expectations in this thread on Friday. I know sales are low, but this is still an achievement and another BOON for the OA/OS revival.

Incidentally I bet Hadji is wetting his/her pants with excitement at the prospect of 6 consecutive #1 debuts in as many weeks assuming Sigala easily make it next week.

I had been pretty much expecting Justin to hold #1 officially under the same circumstances that 1D did the other week, but even I'm surprised at how well he's held up on iTunes so far, looks like he'll even be avoiding the second week plummet 1D had. This is another pretty good song from him (been a while since he released anything truly offensive), not his best but at least he didn't get that first #1 with 'Boyfriend' or, God help us, 'Baby'.
Sigala easily make it next week.

I can't see anything else pass Sigala, apart from the Bond theme would could drop early/mid October, most likely the latter. At least it won't have that problem with the Friday release of Skyfall. I'll be totally behind a Bond theme getting to #1 for the first time, its been a long time coming.

Autumn starts on 23 Sep - autumnal equinox

The lyrics mainly.

 3. Labrinth - Jealous :puke2:

 6. Demi Lovato - Cool For The Summer

 19. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis etc - Downtown :puke2:

 23. Little Mix - Hair  (Don't really have an opinion of this, bit of a meh song tbh)

 27. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams  (By far the best single choice of the 1989 era)

 54. Sigala - Easy Love :o (This should easily hit the top 40 before Friday, and will probably manage around 90/95k)

 78. John Newman - Tiring Game (ft. Charlie Wilson) (Oh dear, what a shame)

 85. Hozier - From Eden :puke2: (Please no, don't let this be a hit)

 156. Foxes - Body Talk    (This had a tragic chart run, shame because it's brilliant)

 162. Maroon 5 - This Summer

 171. Nick Jonas - Levels  (Talk about Yo-Yo-ing up and down the chart)
